Probably looks like this.
I thought I would post a TvT to complete the cycle, but needed one suffciently bad enough to prove exactly how terrible I am at the match-up. Granted, I also win this game, but there's so much that needs work before I can start winning TvT games. This game also didn't count, presumably because he used a bad map or something, which annoys me, because I'll take any win I can get.

Basically, I have a neat little plan to run vultures around the back and expand which is moderately successful. But I really never play the kind of dropship TvT that is played in korea, which I'd like to learn. Instead, we both build up a bunch of units, both hang back, and I sieze my economic lead and build battlecruisers. I really didn't do very much impressive here, except the bare minimum required to win, but I just cannot seem to get into the whole dropship mode.
WRONG:
- No army agression. I could've shut down even the possibility of a second expo, but I never took the opportunity.
- Sent too many vultures on the harassment. For next time, I'll remember to send two/three.
- Starport was late, tech to battlecruisers was slow and frought with supply stops, and I never really saw his drops coming.
RIGHT
- I macro'd well at the beginning.
- Expanded to a third a little slow, but faster than normal.
- I picked an opponent as passive as I
At this stage in my quest to D+, I admit it looks fairly bleak. I'm 4-17 so far, and have not really been able to win a "straight-up" macro game. But I have faith, not only because my hotkey useage improves marginally each game, as does my apm. My macro is improving, and I'm starting to grasp what Day9's last podcast covered; having a plan and sticking to it. Also, it's only 21 games in, in a three month long season.
And finally because I'm loving college, and am in a general good mood.

DIGRESSION: I love music. I'm sure everyone else here does too, but I've been inspired by killinator's album of the day series. (Keep it going!) I've been expanding my usual browsing (NPR Music being my staple) to my favorite villains (Pitchfork is a garbage reviewer.) But I've also been browsing the shared music library of my dorm, and really loving the variety. I'm not so much of an album person (exceptions: The Hazards of Love by The Decemberists, and Feed the Animals by Girl Talk - both of which are just really long songs), instead I pick and choose my favorite songs (I know, blasphemy right?)
I thought I'd share the songs I'm listening to for some of these games.
Here's "All My Friends" by LCD Soundsystem:
