The thing I hate the most about this game is the screen resolution. It's so hard to play on a widescreen monitor since the resolution is so small and everything is stretched when it's on fullscreen | ||

The Priest can become any of these: "Crusader: Armed with healing and defensive spells, a Crusader adds much valued support to dungeon-bound parties. However, a Crusader has no problem leaping into a fight and inflicting healthy amounts of damage to the wicked scourge of Arad. Monk: A Priest whose talents lie in hand-to-hand pummeling becomes a Monk. As he smashes his weapons into the ground, he creates a holy ring, within which his stats increase. A Monk is also highly trained in evasive techniques such as ducking and swaying, striking his floundering enemies with blessed force. Exorcist: Versed in Suju's traditional incantations, an Exorcist banishes evil with his very words. He is particularly adept at wielding the Giant Cross and using holy amulets to deal even more damage over larger areas. And by embodying the spiritual energy of Suju, an Exorcist benefits from the unique self-upgrading skills called Chakras associated with him. We both were going to become Crusaders though so if he chose it I'll do something else. edit: I guess these are the ones I'm considering playing. open beta is pretty much a closed beta with more people before launch. from wikipedia: closed beta versions are released to a select group of individuals for a user test, while open betas are to a larger community group, usually the general public. | ||

You have to navigate a website that has almost no English, register, and download the game. That is the easy part. Apparently the Japanese version only allows people from Japan to play the game so you have to use this VPN configuration program to run your internet through some Japanese proxy is my guess. I'm not a technical person, but all I know is when I run the VPN program and I go to www.google.com, it auto directs me to the Japanese Google, which kind of confirms that whole thing. Me and StalinRuSh have been playing on the Japanese server so far. And you can really get a feel of how the game plays, but you really are limited. Despite language barriers I have figured out how to work on my skill tree and buy different skills, but I have no clue where I'm supposed to go in the story, or how to do quests. Nor do I know anything related to equipping or buying better equips. At the moment I'm repeatedly beating the first two dungeons on easy and "pro mode" with a level 5 BattleMage. In fact just yesterday night I decided to explore the city and I got lost for 45 minutes because I had no clue where I was going. So after smashing my keyboard up a bit in frustration I found out that there was a hotkey for a map... and I felt dumb afterwards. And I felt dumb walking for 8 minutes back to where I started. | ||

I just noticed the update through another forum, and with the amount of interest shown in the thread thus far, having only one person realize that an english version is coming out in 2 days is absolutely unacceptable, especially when they might cut it off soon.
