(Im B-), making good flanks and getting some ok pressure on his (different) build with my muts. Then comes lategame, and he slowly but surely kills me. I think I had ok defense vs his drops, but my problem is I just never had the least chance of attacking him. This is one of a very few games where I cannot put a finger on exactly what I did wrong. Do you hot key your hatcheries? Muta micro is pretty mind consuming as in terms of multi tasking but you where up to 1.2k minerals before you really built something. Retreat your muta's for 2 seconds go 0sm9sd8sz or whatever you like and go right back to the harass. Upgrades, You had 4 basses with the Terran contained, you where getting Hive, I don't think 2/3 evo chambers would be a bad idea. 5 armor Ultralisks are a bitch to kill. lol 14:30 was entertaining. tbh and imo you are a better player then this guy is. I think you just kind of fell apart or kind of got the late game blues, 19:00+ was the turning point of the game, where he slaughtered your army and took out 2 expo's. At 22:50 when you sent your army at him, not one defiler was in sight, you could have turned that unit for unit battle into a Terran massacre. All in all I am very surprised that you lost. Your muta harass was pretty damn good and if it was any better/you committed to it you could have prob taken the game right there, but imo you just need some more practice with late game army's, your force was = to his, and Zerg should have twice as many units vs any race. Not sure what else to say, prob gonna watch it again simply cause I'm still not totally sure why you lost, you where ahead most of the game and could have easily taken it. More hatch's, more units, more scourge/defilers is about all I can say. Very interesting game. Thank you for sharing. | ||

Anyways, why 3rd and 4th hatch on main? You could have made that 3rd on the mineral only and the 4th on a gas expansion, that terran was so far behind after the mutas... other thing is, don't suicide mutas into turrets, it's better to pick off marines and barracks. | ||

Thx for the kind words  Yes I hotkey my hatcheries, but I got a little eager with my muta micro, becuase I thought I would win rigth there. Yeah normally I would have spent those minerals, but for some reason I forgot to make my exps. But what my real question was, could I have been aggresive after the muta herass. Because I never think I got a chance to attack. Or should I just focus on keeping him from getting expansions and then just defend until he has no more minerals. EDIT: And lol at "the lategame blues" ^^ | ||

When u switch to ultraling, ur allowed defilers in there too, theres no law against it. Use nydus canals, he was dropping all game woulda made clean ups much quicker. Get your second evo chamber when ur armor finishes or sooner. use SCOURGE | ||
