That's a pretty good idea which we already thought about in the past. It would be quite a job to update, but if we manage to compile a full list of possible openings for each race, then we can set up something pretty quick I suppose.

Suggestion: use the record of games/winners/losers to generate unofficial Elo ratings for the players (maybe with a starting value of 2000 and k of 32 or 50). It would be really interesting to see "objective" ratings of the strength of players in a way which takes into account the strength of their opponents (unlike matchup winning %s). I tried to make a program to do this myself but I don't know enough programming yet :p.
edit: this is a really good addition to the site, btw.

i think it would be good to make a specific thread for TLPD contribution. So far i guess this is the one for this stuff, but i think it would be better to keep separated, if not it will be too messy.
Also, it would be good to have a comments box under each player/game/map so as to include relevant links about it. For example, to boxer's id links to senseofstar blog-other related articles, battlereports to games, to maps mapdori/broodwarmaps link for download/discussion.
That would make a plus from pro-database to bible.

The DB already handles "external links" for players, though none has been submitted as of now except Boxer's Wikipedia article. We'll have a whole tab dedicated to "External Resources" on each profile section, or something like this.

Can we have a hide option set as a default for the results that way spoiling the game results can be avoided.
Also is their anyway that a VOD link can be put next to Liquibet (just noticed this shouldn't it be Liquidbet?) matchups.
