The first link talks about "self-proclaimed globalists and nationalists" and "so-called globalists" and " "“globalists” and “nationalists” " . It basically doesn't trust the meaning of the two words, but then uses it in the manner of the current trump administration, that is to say, to make the words devoid of their original meaning. The journalism in that article is actually quite poor.
The second link only uses the word "globalist" as quoted by white house officials.
The third link only used "globalist" in the title.
The fourth link only uses "globalist" in the title.
The fifth link only used "globalist" in the title.
Based on your links, globalist as a word exists when used solely by white house officials or as clickbait titles after a reputable journalist wrote the article
None of them are from the pre Trump era.
Globalism as a word as set meanings, which are used, but generally speaking there are better words. Nationalism and nationalist have set meanings, but those aren't how the trump administration uses it.

In UK, the brexiteers are against free trade, but no one says they are nazis (except as for the EDF or other white supremacist groups, but lets ignore them ). The difference is that the majority of brexiteers hasn't adopted the language of white supremacists.

People have opposed free trade, socialism and the world bank without being called Nazis for decades. It is possible. The truth is out there for those who seek it.
Seriously, we should be able to talk about dog whistle xenophobic langauge. I’m not saying calling people Nazis is productive, but I strongly dislike being called stupid for recognizing dog whistle xenophobia.

There's no tactic to this at all. And no, I'm not threatening TL. I made that explicitly clear in my post. I'm pointing out -- and correctly -- that Kwark is creating liabilities for TL. And yes, what Kwark is doing does amount to defamation. It's not just calling me a Nazi, it's falsely stating that I adhere to all sorts of beliefs to which I do not and have said that I do not. And in particular, it's the repeated false statements in light of my denials that demonstrates maliciousness under the law.

Saying you could sue, but you won’t, but you could though, if something you want doesn’t happen, but you’re not going to, but you could, is a threat to sue. If you don’t want to make a threat you don’t say anything about suing.
