Approve Starbow tournaments

I wanted to create this thread to try fully understand how the tournament approval system works.

For the last two months we've submitted the Eurobow tournament to the calender and it hasn't been approved any of the two times. This time, two tournaments have been submitted, the Eurobow ($100 prize) and Monday Night Starbow ($50), which have wiki page, and they've been standing there for 4-5 days. We've seen other tournaments get accepted within hours in the meanwhile, so it could be possible that we're misunderstanding something.

Probably the cure to cancer is quantum in origin. Consider the nature of carcinogens, and more importantly the repercussions of radioactive emissions on living tissue. I will be publishing a theory "expanding" quantity of subatomic particles and field forces. I guess the implication of this idea is we should not focus all our efforts on mathematizing quantum mechanics and instead investigate practical application.

I'm not in the calendar team, but there's the approval list management view, where the calendar team can check and approve events. If an event has been approved dozens of times like GO4SC2 and the contributor that submitted it has had his submissons being approved every time, the approval will be handed out very fast. For things never approved there's normally some discussion, and this can take some time.

I will go ahead and take a further/more detailed look into Eurobow the next time you put in requests. I avoided them up until now because I assumed someone else more knowledgeable about the scene would take care of it but I guess no one has. (Or everyone else is just assuming the same thing I'm assuming)
