haha i think that's awesome (the statis/lockdown idea)
btw if it never gets implemented or until then if you want to check you can look at the banning topic in the closed forum where it specifies if it's tempban or normal
if it's not on like the last page you can search for posts by the tl.net bot in the closed forum with their name in it =O
It's a nice idea. People wouldn't initially know what it means, but once they find out it gives the user an extra bit of info.
With the way tempbans are currently implemented it's not just a quick an easy update to make, but I'll jot this down on the to-do list as a possible update for when there's time. Right - in the meantime you can use Locked's suggestion.
if fruition is a word, im more impressed with the seemingly proper use of it (assuming it is closely related to "fruit" in the term of something being produced) than the original idea.
not that its not an AWESOME idea. because its pretty cool.
I think having just one represent a temp ban would be more consistent and easier for people to catch on. I was originally thinking the lock-down image would make the most sense, but that stasis does look pretty sweet. Anyway, will get to this when I have the time.
the icons all look nice but I think the lockdown is the one that properly gets the message across. maybe clarity is more important than design in this case. maybe not though. the statis does look very cool.

those were my thoughts exactly actually. not that that is worth anything.
Alright, finally implemented this. Thanks again to Noun for doing the images. I still think lockdown makes the most sense here (although the stasis image looks really nice too). Anyway, here's a quick example.
@CharlieMurphy: never complain about how long it takes. =P its all about to do lists, implementing code n getting it to work with what already exists, alotting time available, getting all the specs, how many people are involved, status of server, etc.
