Additionally, Blitz represents the Dota 2 community in a positive way, and people like him help bring attention to Dota 2 and make it an enjoyable experience for all.

I'm a high masters player, but definitely not at pro level. However, I do think I provide a lot of content especially for the lower level community that frequents TL. I run a show every morning (M-F) called the Morning Coffee Break, which is dedicated towards lower level skill progression. Additionally, I commentate daily during my ladder practice, help viewers, and am extremely interactive. Finally, this summer (as well as over the past few weeks) I have hosted and will continue to host casted tournaments with a skill cap of diamond to give outlets for lower level players into the competitive scene. Ultimately, my stream is dedicated towards helping the community become better, and I think it would be an awesome addition to the featured list under "other". Personally I think hes in the same league as KawaiiRice, vileIllusion, Juan, qxc, etc if not better than most/all of them. Its really hard because he's in Korea and doesn't participate in MLGs. He almost made code A a few seasons ago in the qualifiers. Considering how now HuK is code B (from what I heard), I'd say he's probably a top 10 NA player without a doubt. I've only played Terran and only like watching mostly Terran streams. There's still a huge lack of NA born featured terran streamers. He's so fast unreal and I think his upside is amazing. Plus his vlogs are SO DESCRIPTIVE. He's said stuff in those vlogs that I never would have ever thought were factors. The only reason I can think of that he isn't featured is because of his past. If someone like Spades can get featured LS needs to be. Thanks for the consideration TL! <3

Can you guys(mods admins etc) do something with this topic? What is the point of it? People could've made all those posts on some gay porn forum and the results would be exactly the same. Why don't you guys make an additional poll on the front page or sth; for ppl that wants to be featured(with highest post support from recent week/month). Simple "yes or no" poll. Maybe you guys will think of something else, you could sometimes make a post with explanation why some gamer(with high support here) haven't got featured. Please explain how the "other" category works. What are achievements and contribution of people like "-orb-" or "RuN"? They don't even have an audience. I just presume that they are friends with some of admins/mods or sth along these lines. Perhaps OPer rolled the dice? For example, how come our lovely megumixbear ain't featured? She at the very least contributes sth to the community, plays at high level, hosting her tournaments, doing stuff at NASL/IPLs. I think she's important figure. Why not? On the other hand, the "players" category seems weird as well. Why won't you remove people with low viewership? I'm not hating, I'm just asking. How is that possible that a thing that important as "being featured" is so stupid, tentative, unconsidered and not thought out? Thanks in advance for answers. I'm hoping that at least heyoka will comment on this matter.

The reason is he brings something more to his viewers then just a good player. He commentates but other people do that. He is quite good at sc2, again not uncommon for streamers up here. He connects with his audience.. he doesnt talk when he feels like it or if he hits X viewers, he talks to the viewers constantly and it makes the streams more engaging. I would be silly to suggest no other streamers do.. but i would say the best streamers, the ones we keep coming back for regardless of race are the ones that go the extra mile. Obviously he's brought us other content like the popular cheese failing youtube series but he has also got up to masters and entered a big team. He is progressing much in the way many of us secretly hope we could. Of course the other side of it is the music, the songs, the antics.. he isn't just a pro gamer he's a personality, a public face. For those of you with us now on his stream he's hit over $6k in donations in one day. Even if he isn't featured, anyone reading this just have a glance over any of the "when cheese fails" or his stream if its on and you cant help but like him. He has drive, passion, charisma and will be a big name. To give some kind of idea i personally watch a lot of Day9, Destiny, Incontrol, etc. Not necessarily based on race or who's won the last major tournament but people that are inherently enjoyable to watch. http://www.teamliquid.net/video/streams/MaximusBlack
