I hope nasl changes their format next season... like splitting the groups to 4 players and double the amount of groups so each game matters as currently 8 player groups don't keep me interested at all. Looking forward to the finals though.

He did it first with the SC2 guide and then with the SC2 coaching (just search for that stuff on the archives). NASL is probably on a really bad spot right now (a 5000 euros tournament like HomeStory racks up to 20000 viewers while the NASL does what, half of that?) , so he can't be blamed for taking some distance from it. This is total crap. Incontrol made a lot of promises to a lot of people: The money has been budgeted and secured. There's no like, “well gosh, if season one does really well then season two will be fine.” It's completely secure for three seasons. It's all insured and backed by Blizzard, that kind of stuff. http://www.g4tv.com/thefeed/blog/post/710588/north-american-star-league-exclusive-interview-with-geoff-incontrol-robinson/#ixzz1QEmZdsOu He can't wash his hands of these promises. He stuck his neck out... made a big story out of all this.. and made the claim the $400,000 was backed and insured by Blizzard. Whatever that means. Blizzard is NOT an insurance company. So the terminology here is not exactly dead on correct. And when talking about $400,000 you'd expect ruthless attention to detail. The pattern of behaviour here is similar to GosuGuide.com The Parallels are Ominous. he talked big with GosuGuide.com and when the money was incoming he was right there. when the flow of cash slowed down and later parts of the project required some real work...he then began to distance himself from GosuGuide.com and claimed the "business guys" behind GosuGuide.com had left him in the lurch. And yet.. if u visit the site.. its still accepting orders and will still take ur money.. and there is Incontrol "front and centre". Simiilar pattern thus far with NASL. Everything is great when $250 application fee money is streaming in. Now that has stopped and money must be paid out.. Incontrol is slowly distancing himself from NASL. And if the pattern holds true he will start talking in 3rd person terms about NASL and what "those guys are doing". If NASL fails he'll claim to be 1 of the victims duped by unscrupulous "business guys"... just as happened with GosuGuide.com. I'd recommend no one pay any kind of "entry fee" for season 2 until all the season 1 prize money is handed out. Is NASL another big idea, with Mr. Robinson starting off as the "face of organization", about to go bad? Time will tell.

i guess when i think back to when NASL was being put together, and the months leading up to its announcement, it seemed like a much bigger deal than it actually ended up being. what was to be a star league comparable to GSL just never lived up to the hype, and so i guess i can understand his initial investment of time and effort and eventual disappointment and departure. it's still a good tournament, but it's only a star league in name. either way, gl to you geoff, and i hope you get back on track with your gaming, but also i hope you get back on track with being yourself and not holding back anymore for the sake of... being the face of something big or whatever. you're back to just being a player, and i don't think you should compromise yourself unless absolutely necessary. greg doesn't and he benefits hugely from it without even intending to.

Is NASL another big idea, with Mr. Robinson starting off as the "face of organization", about to go bad? Time will tell. You and you're revisionist, half-baked history should be a bannable offense. Everything you've mentioned is imagined, fabricated or warped, and it's obvious you know absolutely nothing about how NASL is run, who runs it, or even how business works. If the NASL fails, and there is absolutely now reason right now to think it would since they have financing for three seasons, it will almost have nothing to do with InControl, who was basically their contract employee. Your attempt to blame InControl for a failure that a) hasn't even happened yet or b) he would deserve absolutely no fault for is so fucking despicable and low it makes me sick. I can only assume that your a 15 year old that InControl beat you on the ladder once, and now you're making it a mission to drag his name in the mud. To which I say this: Go fuck yourself. We are also running a qualifier atm for season 2... please fix OP LOL it seems like he really has lingering desire in casting.Maybe EG is putting pressure on him, team sponsors wouldnt be happy if he gates knocked out of every tourney in the first round, paying him travel expenses and salary. He's trying to be th community interactive guy which is useless if he gets demolished every lan he goes, and its totally useless to for the team. He really doesnt care about tourney results because he gains more money for himself by coaching and streaming anyways, redundant as a team.

http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/haters-gonna-hate Honestly I could care less if Geoff casts ( after the "top end" of casting as long as its not TB I could care less) or not. I can see why he needs the time, the dude really needs to get to marrying and focusing on playing! User was warned for this post
