Hayder Hussein?
I specifically remember reading/hearing he was born in Iraq and moved to sweden or if not that then his roots are from Iraq.

I atleast support those teams because of the character stories of the majority of the players even if they aren't the best. Best of luck to FxO and Twilight though. Certainly has more potential than being just a coach.
Part of the term "foreigner team" is the fact they never managed to pick up a korean player. I at least support those teams that have both character stories and have the foresight of becoming truly competitive in a discipline that becomes more and more global by the day. The pick up of koreans is a natural move in order to benefit from both worlds.

His nationality is Swedish.

wait...did TSL kick Rain off or something? I've seen a lot of "rain fate" "now we play the waiting game for rain" etc etc, what happened with him?
|
Whaaaaaaaat. That's amazing news. All this news is just making SC2 more and more hype. O_o
|
Oh interesting. Maybe they'll pick up rain too haha.

Being named Hussein does not mean you are from Iraq (the middle name of the current US president for example). However, Haypro does have his country listed as "Iraq" on the TL forums:
http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/profile.php?user=Liquid`HayprO
You should use this as evidence to support your claim, not his name.

You can check his TLPD's profile; it lists him as a Swedish. Having last name sound Arabic does not mean he has to come from the Middle East, as there were a lot of immigrations in the past.

as it should be, SC2 is just awesome and koreans seem to love the foreingers fans alot ^^

I wonder how this is going to work out with the Koreans in foreign teams. Nice pickup FXO.
It would be awesome if FXO encouraged them to learn English,by paying them lessons.Would be hugely beneficial for them if they are going to actively compete outside of Korea.

Why did you guys keep this a secret for so long?
|
great pickup, congrats FXO!
really looking forward to seeing how FXO will fare in the future. It's looking real good so far.

Awesome, I look forward to seeing him play for FXO. Now are we suppose to call him "Zed" or "Zee" or "Oz"?
By the way, I <3 FXO

Then its even more international then i thought.

Great move, I thought that FXO needed a player with experience with coaching , and who knows how to train efficiently, and who can do it better than an ex bw player? And he is probably very good as well which will also help ^^.

Is this the first time a native Korean joins a foreigner team in SC2?
It feels like the game is still so young, yet the ESPORTS part of it is being handled somewhat like BW.
I could not have predicted this much growth despite all the balance fixes that are still to come in multiplayer.
Next thing you know, players will be drafted into teams and sign contracts.
