Just gimme the trophy already dammit.
- After an unexpectedly fierce battle you finally made it to Ro8
▲ My opponent prepared much more thoroughly than I expected, the games were really hard. I completely lost set 2 and was in danger, but I still thought that I could win the next set. Now that I'm in ro8 and got my seed I'm satisfied.
- Your opponent cheesed you in the second set.
▲ I have somewhat expected him to cheese, but it was much worse than I expected.
- Your pool was late and you pulled drones, was it the wrong judgement?
▲ It is one of the way to defend against marines. My opponent went for fast gas so I thought he will only use small amount of marines and then switch to vulture. But it wasn't so therefore I lost.
- Third set was dangerous.
▲ Whenever I play I never doubt that I will win, but my opponent has a very good grasp on my play style, so for a moment I was in real danger.
- Thinking back on the games in Ro16.
▲ Reality is ill with a cold, so I let my guard down abit. I learn something about keeping my mindset today. Maybe it would have been better if I didn't know that my opponent was sick before the game.
- Your next opponent is Grape.
▲ I haven't played much ZvP recently, it's important to get the feel back, so I have to prepare more. Although Grape is a rookie, but as a pro gamer he will still have the ability to win games. Therefore I won't let my guard down during preparation.
- Anything else you would like to say?
▲ I worked really hard to prepare. The head coach gave me alot of support, and my teammates helped me wholeheartedly, it is because of that I could win today. The scenario similar to what happened in set 2 was something that our team's Sexy has suggested to me before, but I still misjudged it and lost the game so it was abit of a shame. Today many fans thought I would advance to Ro8 easily but in the end I made them worry as they watch. If everyone can continue to support me I will handle these situation better in the future. From now on in order to keep the fans excited I will play more exhilarating games (laugh).
Tomorrow is Mother's day, so I guess today's would make a good present for my parents. I'm grateful for them giving birth to me and nurture me and I will fulfill my filial piety to them. My mother's birthday is in May, so I will give her the ABC Mart MSL Champion Trophy as a present.

So sleepy...
- This is the first time you qualify for Ro 8 in your professional career.
▲ I'm really happy, my main goal was to advance to the Ro8, now that I have reached my goal it was a big relief. Currently I'm in a losing streak in SPL so there was alot of pressure on me, the win today should let me off it.
- The pressure was on you after losing the first set.
▲ The thought of losing so much made it hard for me to sleep and it was agonizing. During my losing streak in both individual and proleague I had a rough time.
- You defended calmly in the third set.
▲ I was thinking about using speed shuttle after the defending. Horang2 hyung made alot of zealots so blocking the choke well made the difference.
- You prepared well for the game.
▲ I prepared by trying to predict what strategy Horang2 hyung will likely use, and it made me play well. I was very nervous, but because I prepared thoroughly I managed to win.
- Your team has many protoss players, it must be easy to practice.
▲ JangBi hyung and Brave hyung helped me practice till midnight. All the things that happened in today's games were something that I encountered during practice, so I could react easily.
- You have reached your first goal, time to change to a different goal.
▲ The Ro8 bracket has not been decided yet, but since my ranking is very low, I would have to play very a strong player. I will do my best to prepare.
- You will have a very strong opponent in Ro8.
▲ Actually I really wanted an opponent like that (laugh). It doesn't matter who it will be it's going to be tough, so I will prepare with a mindset to learn. Therefore I won't think about losing, I will give it my best shot.
- Anything else you want to say?
▲ I want to thank all the players that helped me practice. Recently I'm in a losing streak and my parents are really worried about me. Today I advanced to the Ro8 so I hope they won't worry as much. Reality and Stork hyung still has to play in the upcoming games, I hope they will do their best so we can advance to Ro8 together.
Calm
lulz.
- Thoughts on advancing to Ro8?
▲ Getting a seeded spot so I don't have to play MST again makes me very happy. Since I got consecutive seeding I really want to get some results this time.
- You won the first set, was it easier to prepare for the next 2 sets?
▲ I won the first set, so for the games afterward I thought I could win which ever way I play, it was really relaxing. The preparation this time made me realize how important winning the first game is.
- How did you readjust your mindset after losing the second set?
▲ My opponent seem to have prepared very well. I felt alot of pressure after losing the second game. It made me nervous thinking that the scores are even again, but I thought to myself that I cannot lose here, so I concentrated on playing the game.
- You lost alot recently.
▲ The individual league can erase all of my recent failures. I just need to play well in the Ro8 and carry that momentum into SPL.
- Your MSL results are better than OSL.
▲ They say that you'll know how to eat it once you've eaten it, this is the stage that I have been on before so it was easier for me to play on.
- Who do you want to meet in Ro8?
▲ I hope I get to play against ZerO. We often practice together, so we know each other's style well, and I know that I'm leading in our head to head record.
- Anything else you want to say?
▲ It takes a long time to prepare for SPL so I feel really sorry towards the teammates that helps me practice, therefore I did most of my practice with a practice partner. His name is Progamer and I really want to thank him. Also, yesterday was my mother's birthday, I want to wish her a happy birthday.
Hydra
Haters are gonna hate, 2 TBLS down and 2 more to go
- You got the seeded spot.
▲ To be able to defeat a strong opponent like Stork makes me very happy, but I'm not satisfied at all on the content of the games. All my games recently seem to go out of my control, so in order to overcome this I think I should increase my practice load.
- In the second set you had your hatchery near the opponent's base and gateway.
▲ I saw where the probe was going and I felt that he might be doing 1 gate, but my drone didn't to scout it so I made an error, and let Stork ended up having a gateway near my hatchery. I actually could have had a chance to win, but because I made mistakes I lost regretfully. If I didn't suicide my mutas like that I could have won.
- How did you readjust your mindset after losing the second set?
▲ I initially though I definitely could have won that game, but I was very frustrated after losing it. I didn't think about much else, I just wanted the third set to start already.
- You were in danger for a moment during set 3.
▲ Stork defended too well, so the game dragged out. But I have never once thought that I would lose.
- Your Ro8 opponent is Mind.
▲ I have the confidence to win. My recent record against terran is not good, I want to use this opportunity to break away from my poor ZvT.
- As the defending champion you were expected to get good results, is there alot of pressure?
▲ I lost alot after winning the championship, therefore I can't keep losing now, the pressure is huge, so sometimes even when I was ahead I manage to lose. Right now I'm working hard to not feel burdened while I'm playing.
- Anything else you want to say?
▲ I lost alot recently, I'm sorry to my team mates, coaching staff and fans. I will perform better in the future so I hope everyone can keep supporting me. I want to thank the head coach for keep encouraging me.
