I know he's obviously considerably better than TT1, but I didn't expect it to be that one sided given how much trouble he has with TvP. Still not sold on that marine/tank build, though the banshee harass version was nice (would still have liked a slighlty faster raven / waiting on the push till the raven came that game). TT1's horrible battle micro made it look more effective than it should have been though.
MC is just ridiculously good at PvP, if he'd aggressively four gated like that vs WhiteRa he'd have crushed him. Perhaps he learned his mistake with a more passive fourgate opening being too exploitable by someone playing greedily.
its ok the next time i get a chance to play him with more than 1 hour of sleep, without my eyes burning, without my head spinning, without being insanely sick/coughing every 30 seconds, without my chair being 1 meter beneath my desk, without having my monitor vibrate all game long because we were playing on a wooden panel that absorbed all the sound, without having the game freeze every 2 seconds because of b.net lag, ill win also this being my 1st gsl event compared to his 1000000000000th match doesnt help with nerve issues when your face to face with a huge crowd with cameras taking pictures of you from every side in the middle of a game, but you wouldnt know any of this would you? np its haters like you that motivate me to prove myself so once i do i can give you a big fuck you right in your face, you havnt seen 10% of what im capable of and i promise i always back up whatever i say You make some good points. A lot of those little nuisances I would've never considered as a spectator. It is pretty annoying to see people judge your micro abilities just based on these couple of matches. Hates gonna hate. Other than sickness MKP had all the same disadvantages, he's much more micro based, and he still managed to micro just fine. Obviously one series is not the be all and end all of describing someone's skill but sometimes you lose and it seems rather counterproductive to blame it on everything but yourself.

Will be interesting to see if it becomes the standard way to TvP... Thought for sure TT1 had game 4. Yea, I was thinking it was going to a game5 for sure, but i was yelling at my screen when I saw him attack MKP at the angle he did at the gold base Still, I was pretty impressed with his play, especially considering he was sick.

this is the exact reason why your a fan of the game and im a player, sure money is nice but what i play for is much more fucking important than money, i dont give a fuck about winning money in a tournament that i played like shit in because its based on luck and luck doesnt do you any good in the long term

If you play so much better on an ordinary day you should stay in korea and win a couple of GSL's.
I hope you're trolling aoe2fan because those are all legit and substantially influence games.
TT1, you kicked ass man! Looking forward to watching you more in the future :D

This was what I was thinking the whole time lol. Compare tt1's route to 4500 vs. what 200+ people are fighting for at MLG right now. I think everyone knows that MLG's prizepool is far too small (except for the championship event). Tyler had a good point on SOTG that MLG should have made the 5 small tourneys with a 10k first prize and the final tourney with a 25k prize. As it stands now, if you win all 5 MLGs you get 1/2 as much as winning the final tourney, which is pretty ridiculous I think. The 50K grand prize tourney is for marketing purposes only so I guess I can understand, but it stinks for the players trying to make a living off of this; too much variance.
Regardless, I'd say TT1 played pretty well considering how sick he was (it was obvious that he was, not like the guy is trying to make excuses)

mc impressed me today but i think pvp needs change))

man players are already pissed/stressed as fucked after they lose a match, especially ones that they know that played fucking horribly in, trust me im the first person to know what my mistakes were and how shitty i played, i dont need random people constantly pointing shit out all day long on forums, also what do you know about what a player goes throught before a match? all you see when your sitting in front of your pc with your bag of doritoes is a picture of a dude sitting in a booth while playing a game, you have no idea of the backstory or anything.. it fucking pisses me off that i would feel the need to come post what i did in order to defend myself(thats mostly because i care too much about what people think of me)

No need to rant like that and whip out 100 excuses. Doesn't come off as very classy/professional to me.

I still love you TT1, you played awesome in the team league and ro16 anyways

just ignore them tt1. there will always be the haters, but remember there are also the fans. just focus on the fans

I'm proud of how the foreigners performed at the GSL. They showed the Koreans that they better stay on top of their game, and even need to improve, as the foreigners are snapping at their heels and are hungry for success.
Congratulations on a well played tournament and a special BIG UP to TT1 for carrying that foreign banner the furthest. As a fan of the whole SC2 scene it makes me proud and confident that things will only get better.
|
TT1 man! Just remember, you have your #1 fanboy still believing in you. TT1 gonna wreak havoc on everyone, you heard it here first folks.
|
TT1 was the most impressive foreigner in korea for this event (besides Dimaga of course), anyone shitting on him really should shut the hell up. The guy really showed he has what it takes to be a top foreigner, and he has a very bright future.
|
I don't get why you would care about what idiots and trolls write about you. This is the internet, it's full of them, and will continue to be so no matter what you do about it. It really shouldn't be that hard to shrug off IMO. Just ignore them. Coming here and posting like you're doing now doesn't really accomplish anything positive at all.
Anyways, everyone who isn't a dumbass is proud of what you did in Korea (especially the team thingy ^__^).
