It's such a let down.
More recently I was playing as terran and noticed my minerals weren't going up. Went back to my base and all my SCVs were dead and I couldn't figure out why.
I watched the replay and saw a science vessel come in and cast irradiate on one of them, which killed the whole stack. I had some turrets up, but it didn't help. Irradiate has a long cast range.
After that I played a game of BGH and found it much more enjoyable.
With the stacked workers being such a vulnerable and frustrating part of Fastest, why do people play the format so much? (based on the list of games you commonly see on US West)
Is there some technique to defend against getting all your workers killed, or is it just part of the game, and you should expect to be wiped out like this from time to time?
