Hey, guys! Welcome to the second edition of my blog. For those who haven't read before (which is probably everyone) I am a low bronze player (Grisk on the NA servers) who analyzes his own games and tries to learn something from them. I basically use this blog as a method of forcing myself to do real analysis a few days a week and to organize my notes when I do so. If you get anything out of this, or have a suggestion/idea, please shoot me a PM or leave a comment!
First game notes:

ZvZ on metalopalis
early ling rush and lost queen
Second queen's first larva was slow
Need a queen on second base
Queen energy started to get high around 14:00, should have started spreading creep
Bad scouting
Other than the queen loss, I did a good job of defending his agression.
Totally unprepared for the banelings
Totally unprepared for the mutas as well (threw down spore crawlers as soon as I saw them)
Supply blocked at 26, 44, 108,
Totally failed at tapping
Money was really high around 9:00
Really wasn't sure when to take a third

I really only won this game because his macro wasn't up to par
I got the all-important third up quickly
Completely failed to larva inject

Did not scout well

I had a good weekend for Starcraft. I got my 10 wins as Zerg achievement and won 5 games in a row. I have, however, noticed a few (gaping) holes in my gameplay.
While I have tried to teach myself to tap, so far, I've done a lackluster job of actually doing so. One of the main things you want to tap for as Zerg is your larva (checking the statusbar or the queen energy) and I completely failed to do that once I got three bases up. On two bases, I seem to do a better job, but on 3+ I completely fail to manage it.
The other really vital skill I am lacking is the ability to take a third. I get so consumed with macro on two bases, I completely forget to do it. If I do remember... see above
Despite these flaws, I'm winning so far in the Bronze league, so my "peers" are probably struggling with similar issues.
I have found some things that I want to shape into something that resembles a style. I like upgrades. 1/1 and 2/2 zerglings are scary early game, and double evo chamber is a lot of fun! I have also discovered that brood lords seem to hard-counter everything in the bronze league, and it's hard to dislike that!
