EPTWell I guess I missed any sort of 1000th post blog that is oh so traditional here, but this is as good a time as any to write a blog post.
Simple question: everyone here knows what "inc" means, right?(it means incoming) cause i feel like i'm the only one who uses it around here but it's super useful. I'm just tryina make sure everyone knows what i'm saying lol.
Complicated Question: Should i play BW or Sc2?
For the last few months really I haven't been playing too much of either game (Blame League of Legends), but I want to start playing much more (and regularly). But which one? I can't really devote my time to both, that is counter active to getting better at either, which is what i want to do.
I played BW for a few years, and I had a great time at Lans with my friends, and eventually making my way to ICCup and reaching D-. Then Sc2 came out and I realized Gold league is the place for me. After a while I accepted my place in both of these ladder systems. But no more! I'm fed up with both of those rankings! I want to improve one, and it doesn't really matter which.
On the one hand. BW. I've played it for longer and kind of respect / like / understand it more, but obviously it's more difficult. On the other hand, I feel like if I actually played 2 games of SC2 a day, i could get to platinum fairly easily, especially if i picked a race and just tried to get a really solid BO down. Plus, a lot more of my friends play Sc2 now, even though I would be able to find people to play BW with.
Has anyone else had a dilemma like this before? Any advice would be welcome (but please don't turn this into a Bw vs sc2 thing, lets just talk about... the "practicality" of playing either game. I do like both games.)
