If you're downgrading, which I'm assuming with that file, you simply extract the stuff to your d2 folder and overwrite.

is it possible to play in window mode??
Yes, either use the GlideWrapper mentioned on one of the earlier pages or add -w to the commandline (make a shortcut to your diablo ii.exe/game.exe)

I was duo'ing this with a friend and we got stuck on act5 nightmare. I don't suggest starting with a hardcore character.. it'll only end in regret :/

I will agree though losing a melee necromancer to some bullshit unexpected boss in kurast does suck >.<

I have all the changes/corrections in place and am beginning the compiling/uploading phase. Once that occurs Duff will get it on the mirror and start the realm reset.
We anticipate having everything live by around 2.5 hours or less.
I suggest everyone joins channel "TL" on the realm. That way I can note your account and put it here, so you can still get an early start if you want while keeping in touch.

my account name will be sixduck

My D2 experience consists of a few months of playing single player 6 years ago but I'll give it a try. My account name is barth.

Check which realm it's trying to connect to, check firewall permissions.
|
make sure you're connecting to the arimyth network.
to add it there should be an HU.reg file in your d2 folder if you copied everything over, click that and select yes and the arimyth network should be added.
|
If you are having trouble finding the arimyth network, go into your D2 folder and run the file 'hu.reg' . It will apply the network to your b.net realms so when you join it will let you go to that server.
If you can see that network but still having trouble, check firewall stuff.
|
I think i see now. thanks

the realm is called arimyth network.

Right below the battle.net button, it says the name of the realm with small letters.
|
well, I installed the .reg, permitted firewall, everything, but every time I try to launch the .bat file, it says ' Error connecting to server '
|

|
