I want to try steam, but I have some serious issues where the stream will just be stuck with 1-3 fps. Tried lowering bitrate to 100, and resolution to something ridiculous like 100x62, but it still just completely lags out. Now I am really clueless as to why this happens. Speedtest showed 12MB download, 2.4 MB upload with a ping of 27, so really should not be an issue. I can play the game with 90+ fps while streaming, but the problem seems to be somewhere else. Tried to play around with every combination of processor affinity without any luck aswell. All firewallsettings have been looked through, everything seems like it should be perfect. I followed the guide at the start of this thread, and have done exactly like it said, and played around with every setting I could find without result. Anyone have a clue what might be the problem? Have you disabled Screen Optimization in VHScrCap settings?

Turn off 'optimize whole screen capture.' While you're at it. Otherwise you'll experience seemingly random spurts of 0.7 fps. Change your FME FPS to 20, and then on ustream, change it to 20. This will allow your precious 500kbps to go into quality rather than more frames. At the very least, make the two frame rates correspond. Thanks for the help, unfortunately the issue remains, only now it only captures the very upper left corner of the screen very zoomed in instead of following the cursor. What I changed: Changed all framerates to 20. Checked "Track screen" Unchecked "Track mouse" Unchecked "Optimize screen capture" Current setting, including VHRscrCap: + Show Spoiler + Any more ideas? This is incredibly frustrating since I'm unsure what half the settings do

I got a problem with my sound. Im using a USB headset with attached microphone. I followed the guide with setting stereo mix on and enabling the microphone sound in my headset. However when i select stereo mix as source in FME I get no feed at all. If i look at the stereo mix its not going up either when i make a sound or play some movie. Anyone got some ideas what is causing this ?

Because of the way GOM player paints its window. There's nothing you can do. Unless you've only tried it in fullscreen, in that case try it windowed. Other than that, it's just the way GOM player paints the window. But people restream GSL all the time D:

So, I cant get both mic + in game sounds to work simultaniously, only one of them will work at a time. And its quite annoying. I've tried VAC without sucess and I have no clue what to do. I have watched 1500 tutorials on youtube, none of them have worked or helped me at all. I use XP. I have tried to get the latest drivers also for my Realtek, (Mine is still old, so not the same options etc as displayed in the guide, so cant do anything there, also I have Windows XP still). So is there anyway to get around this? I really want to get it working :\ All I can change in my realtek audio manager is to either change to "Stereo Mix" or "Mic Volume" Stereo Mix gives me ingame sounds but mic wont work. "Mic Volume" gives me a working mic but no ingame sound. Please help!

Computer: Phaenom X4 4x3,6Ghz with 4 gigs of DDR-3 ram, 64 Bit Win7. connection 50Mbit/5Mbit cable. So I have a pretty good connection, and I have trouble streaming with a remotely decent bitrate. My 5 Mbit upload should be able to handle at least 1MBit with easy, but I can't even stream with 250kbps in 960x540 and mono audio with 64kbit, 20fps. Within seconds my output buffer in FLME starts to increase rapidly. After 5 minutes of streaming I'm usually at a few hundred seconds buffer. My publishing bandwidth shows a measily 200kbps. At 350kbps FMLE looses connection to the media server because it can't even handle the buffering anymore. All that means my connection can't seem to handle the streaming and I can't figure out why. With my specs I should be able to stream with at least 1000kbps/25fps/720P. Any ideas? *edit* I'm sitting at work atm. I have a crappy dual core notebook connected to a 5mbit/5mbit synchronous DSL line here. I have no troubles whatsoever streaming in 800x450 with 500kbps at 25fps. It doesn't even start buffering, it runs silky smooth. This is driving me nuts.

I can get the video to come through just fine, yet I get miserable FPS. My PC itself runs fine, yet the stream FPS seems to drop and lag behind. I used pretty much the same specs in the setup, with a couple minor changes to resolution due to me having a horrible monitor xD PC Specs: i7 860 - 2.8 GHz 8gb ddr3 Radeon HD 5770 I can run SC2 at all ultra settings with no problem. When I stream, my FPS doesn't lag on the PC itself, yet drops significantly in FMLE (averages around 9 I would say). Connection: D: 5.92Mb/s; U: 1.71Mb/s FMLE Settings: + Show Spoiler + Any help would be GREATLY appreciated - Thanks!

My computer specs: AMD Phenom II X4 925 (2.8 GHz quad core) 4gb ddr3 Radeon HD 5770 I want to be able to stream sc2 on medium settings. According to speedtest.net, my download and upload are 17.80 Mb/s and 0.96 Mb/s respectively. What's the highest quality stream I can go for without hindering my gameplay with lag? I've been trying to do 20 fps with a bitrate of 650 Kbps at 800x450. It usually stays around 20 fps, but it seems just a bit too blurry to me. When I try to increase the quality to 800 Kbps, I drop to around 18 fps. Is my computer maxing out or is there something else I can do?
