User Notes: I am a Diamond player, sure I'm relatively new but all of this is expressly my opinion and i really couldn't care if you think I'm a noob or a troll...
In recent light of people digging threw all of Activision and blizzards past, I've noticed that with Activision holding blizzard on a leash, that Blizzard can't make the changes through b.net 2.0, what we've been requesting will most likely end up as an add-on we will have to pay for, I mean why not, they've done it with the campaigns already, they will pick every last penny out of our pockets as they can, and it's not entirely blizzards fault. However we cannot let these things slip threw our fingers, We as players of the competitive scene should be heard, all of us, not just the few who think b.net 2.0 is good, because what they said they would do isn't there and its a complete joke of a system.
Battle.net of the original starcraft was nearly perfect for the game, it allowed user created content, public chat as well as private channels, selective laddering to help practice against a certain race, the basic LAN service, and it allowed for private ladders to even weed out the bad things about it, and opened up the competitive scene to a much more concentrated area. B.net 1.0 is literally what kept starcraft around for as long as it did. B.net 2.0 took every about the original, and did the exact opposite. Matchmaking, User created content to cost money, the removal of channels and LAN, and any unauthorized content added to B.Net is illegal, such as things like Chaos Launcher and private ladders like ICCup.
Activision Blizzard has removed every detail that kept Starcraft 1 alive for as long as it has. It' s disappointing really.

I don't plan on buying it... the beta is a disapointment...
and now I can no longer say "Although we're stuck with EA and Activision, at least there is good in the world with Blizzard"... the ONLY gaming company that I see rising up to be like old Blizzard is Riot Games, and they have yet to put out anything but League of Legends... although an awesome game... I need my RTS and RPG fixes sometimes.

Not all, but they are going to have "Regular" and "Premium" content, where content creators are going to get a cut of the money. so of course good content creators are going to use it.

ZOTAC cups are FILLING every week. There's even a call for raising the grid to 1024 players, since the 512 maximum fills up within minutes of check-ins opening up - with a whole hour given to most games for check-ins. Even with the hour of check-ins for most games, they have trouble getting a fraction of the players that SC2 has. Let's not forget that the beta is invite-only, and region locked.
It's not that you're a "noob or a troll", just that you obviously can't see the big picture at all.

I'm only one guy, but I have a beta key and have gone back to BW... its more a hatred of the completely sour taste that Bnet2.0 has left in my mouth than the game itself, but still...

At the same time, your claim that the fact that a game is growing in popularity from late beta -> release is "the big picture" is similarly ludicrous.
We will see in 1-2 years I suppose
