I just want to put out a warning here.
Look at this site. What is their business model? How do they recoup the enormous cost of bandwidth that they must be feeling? Surely it is not out of charity?
It's probably because they are using some other website's servers to host the movies. That's what other sites like ninjavideo do/did. They're leeching off of those site's bandwidth, costing them a lot of money.
Just something to think about... morally it would be better just to use bittorrent.

Also it's in beta right now, so no ads are up yet.

Seems like a useful site, will try it.
Btw, what is this "leeching of other peoples bandwith", like what, who and when?

This implies to me that it's not servers under their control.

edit: But, I think this site will be taken down pretty soon

Dude, it's legal for me to use that site it's not legal for me to torrent stuff. Finding what I want and watching it is like instant, very useful when in school or to lazy to download. Also try to find high quality torrent of 2012?
Basically I would credit you some if you didn't argue that torrents would be better. That just makes me feel you should drop your moral talk.
Why would it be morally better to torrent? How do you know they are not using their own servers and pretending it's someone else? Judging on the consistency I've experienced so far I do believe it's something like this.
This site is amazing

edit : i posted in the wrong thread sorry

I just tested downloaded 2012 Supernova and looked at the specs. It's not HD.
Video: 640 x 360, 24fps, H264 1000Kbps Audio: 64 Kbps AAC

It's still plain old piracy and not very likely to stay alive long. Enjoy while it lasts.

seriously a strike isn't going to change anything. If you want to hurt the community to make a statement that's fine but it's not going to change the admins' decision
|
I support the strike... banning koreans that don't live in korea doesn't make sense... but hey, thats not what this thread is about so I won't derail it.
The site looks good, but its the same as sidereel and all similar sites... it will eventually get shut down. All these sites are pretty immoral
|
The site is owned by an individual that lives in Myanmar and is hosted in Amsterdam... Meh probably will just end up keylogging all of your computers by the time the official release comes out and they get boarded up

I don't like it. They are doing something quite illegal, even worse than torrenting because they have created a site made of content found on the internet, like they state. To me they are just fucking tv-producers etc over
Also, how do they pay for the enormous bandwidth? This is bullshit
|
Either way, this website is pretty cool. I hope it lasts

Stream crapped out half way through watching transformers.
|
Ho0ps happened to me to. just close it and reopen and then your good to go. Definitely put it's worth back a notch.
