Recently, I thought about doing some retail part-time. I've never been a sell shit for profit kinda guy but I gotta have some cash or else where is my redbull supply gonna come from. Anyway, I have seen a few threads lately about keyboards, mice, etc. I think I could start a shop since I know about some merchandise. Anyway, I would sell all sorts of shit like:
brands: sennheiser, steel series, razer, logitech, qsenn, cherry, etc.
goods: mice headphones surfaces (i.e. mouse pads) mouse bungees keyboards (many varieties e.g. dt-35, mechanical, logitech, razer etc) keyboard carrying bags
the prices would be good but i am in china so there would be shipping (which I will arrange but you will pay for). anyway, i am wondering what kinda of interest TL has in this. since any and all sales would come as a result of this community I feel like I should ask:
Poll: Are you interested in buying designer goods for a reasonable price online? (Vote): Yes. If I was interested in something I would check out your stuff (Vote): Yes, but only hard to find stuff like Dt-35 or mouse bungee. (Vote): No. You're shit is probably fake (Vote): No. I'm willing to pay more for local stuff + Show Spoiler +
if there is interest i will set-up my own site prolly. also, it would all be guaranteed legit. so before you start with your china flames... guaranteed real. + Show Spoiler +I can't believe I have to add that.. but the fact is most people will assume i am trying to cheat them with "chinese goods"

Voted no. Seems like a hassle to go through international shipping etc. Even though it probably isn't and I'm just hugely lazy.

Depends on the price. With the added $20 shipping, I don't think most of the items will be worth it =\

Second thought, I probably wouldn't buy from you, as I go back to China pretty often

Look up "dropshipping" to be an affiliate. It's the same kinda thing and would be less hassle. How do you plan to get enough of these products to sell? If you're just gonna buy whats around you and ship it over with our money while making a small profit then it would be better for us to do it on our own directly no?
If the prices weren't jacked up then sure but wouldn't overpay for a specific brand.

I thought I would hookup some gear. I'll try to get some example prices soon. Obviously, folks want a good deal and a timely arrival. I think I can offer than. I'm not gonna do this unless it makes sense for you and me. This is a just a feeler to see if there is any demand for my services.

what is gief?

That's good you have a wholesaler connection, answered my question. If you were just gonna buy it from like a local retail store and ship it out then it would be a diff kinda situation. It answered my question atleast.

Even from a wholesaler, you're still not gonna have a lot of profit. Your location is the deal killer because of shipping. Most posters on here are probably in the States. Unless you're offering your stuff for close to 50% less than stores in the States, most people aren't gonna go through you because the savings are negated by the buttraping they'd get on shipping prices.
If you were to do it just in China it might work

I mean, if you've really got that connect and he's giving you a good deal, work the chinese forums or something, assuming shipping in the country isn't much there.

I know some items are made specifically for China, so they're hard to get in the US and require expensive shipping to receive anyways :/
Not sure if you could really make a business out of a few select items though, would probably need to have a fair amount of demand in China as well.

I would be interested, but if and only if shipping didn't rape.
