i am trying to use/install the iccup launcher and i downgraded to 1.53 etc etc however when im opening SC it says it cannot locate the file the local.dll file in my program files, well that's because it isn't there. when i installed starcraft i just installed straight into my C: drive so; my question is
How do u change the path in which iccup launcher opens the SC file. Like from C:\Program Files (x86)\Starcraft to C:\Starcraft
also other possible conflicts- -i installed straight from battlenet, so i have no cd -vista! XD
thanks in advance.
;edit; nevermind I'm good, thanks all

Ahh nevermind i found something with the almighty google. http://www.iccup.com/starcraft/forum/webmaster_help/suggestions/45237.html?1230664846
Testing to see if it works~! oh wait; new question. essentially that link specified
open iccup.ini file in notepad. There you can specify path to your sc path.
then
Mm'kay thank you very much unk. Heres what I got Copy and paste this without the quotes into the ini file under Starcraft: Brood War, if you don't have it already. "MainExe=D:\Starcraft\StarCraft.exe" (change the drive letter to whichever HD the 1.15.3 SC is in)
Where's the iccup.ini file

the icc launcher by default tries to find your starcraft.exe in c/program files/starcraft, if your sc folder is not there you should get a option to find it manually when you click on run, at least thats how it is for me.
so if your sc is in the default folder and you wanna change it, just move it to wherever you want, making sure that there is no stacraft in c/program files/starcraft since that is where it will look for first, and then run icc launcher and it should ask you manually to input your stacraft.exe
thats how i handled my problems, since im using a copy of 1.15.3 and one of 1.16, i set it up this way so chaos by default launches 1,16 and icc launches 1.15.3. i don't understand why there is no button to manually set your exe path though TT

the iccup.ini file should be in your iccup launcher folder, wherever you put it.

or he could just use Windows search feature, thats what I did.

well he could, but im assuming he knows where his icc folder is, and the ini file really shouldn't be anywhere else

im not sure if vista works the same as xp, but i think you could have just renamed your folder and it would let you pick it ^^.
glad you solved it though.
