NPR is really good, as it's one of the few talk radio programs that I can stand. I feel like it actually makes me smarter a lot of the time ^_^

<3 Car Talk. Click and Clack are two of the most entertaining radio hosts ever.

NPR is pretty much the only thing I will listen to on public radio. I hate the talk radio programs though . More classical/baroque/etc. please

Yeah I used to to NPR on my way to school every day. Morning Edition is good. Anyone ever notice that Carl Castle (the announcer for Wait Wait and one the Washington correspondents) can breath in through his nose and speak at the same time? Check that shit out.

You don't like car talk? they're pretty funny. Although I guess if you're not into the show, then I can see how you wouldn't like it at all.

car talk and wait wait are awesome.
I'm kinda impartial to the NPR station in LA though...they play a lot of programs I could care less about. I found SD's NPR station much more to my liking.

I guess it just isn't appealing to your sense of humor or something, but Click and Clack are hilarious imo.

Wow, I've been listening to this station in the shower and on the way to and from work every day lately.
There was a guy on today at like 10:30 pacific time who said a lot of good shit, Blaze Fontaine or something.

I used to listen to NPR, but in terms of straight info in the shortest amount of time, news radio is the way to go. Unfortunately, not every area has news radio though.

NPR has amazing stuff. Best talk radio around.
