Excited to see what Rogue brings to the table, he lost in Code S but looked decent. I doubt he'll beat Solar, but Elazer and Skillous will be good tests.

Seems the brackets always work out this way though. Honestly I think you'll get plenty, considering it's impossible to advance in the open bracket to playoffs without eventually playing a korean. As an aside, I'm expecting Koreans to completely wreck face this tournament. KR v KR finals. Likely Maru-herO again unless they knock each other out before.

- Technically this is Marus tournament to lose...can he *finally* win something outside of Asia? - How in form is Serral? While Nice should be doable, herO/Reynor is already tough. Generally curious to see how good he works through the Knockout Stage/if he can take Bo5s. - Can Reynor beat his downwards spiral? - Will herO capitalize? - How good is Rogue by now? - Should Maru fail as usual, the next in line to win it should be Clem...another ESL-win for him? Sadly, Showtime won't be around. He really could have used the points to maybe overtake Spirit? Now it seems almost guaranteed that he will have to slug through the Qualifier if he wants to make it to Riyhad... Winner Bracket: Clem - Maru - herO - Dark Open Bracket: Gumi - Creator - Solar - Skillous - Byun - DRG - Bunny - Nightmare. While I think Maru and Serral are the more favorite as usual, Dark might be the one who can get a run going. We want a Zerg to win so that nothing will change until EWC.

Pretty much this. Mostly excited to see Serral. Wondering what opportunity he had to practice at all. On paper, Maru must be the favorite now, with Serral having been taken out by the service. Anyway, we might see a good story.

And its not like zerg has to practice build orders and stuff

However, it has been three months of limited time to play, plus a new patch, plus new maps, plus the general distraction caused by the military routine during the week. This will certainly have some impact. Also, it's wrong to say that zerg doesn't have to practice build orders at all. In fact, remember that two of his wins at Katowice against Maru were sharply executed specific builds. Anyway, we'll find out about his form soon enough.

Lol don't suggest to Solar it unless it is because of military service. Otherwise, Korean Zerg talents will be extinct with Soo, Dark, Rogue, DRG and Shin are the only competitive programmers left in the scene. Now, I am missing Impact who is always making regular appearance in Code S.

But I'm sure everyone is sandbagging it so close to this tournament...
