Let me congratulate those who have qualified for the Russian Cyber Games 2021 (RCG 2021), a part of the Russian Cyber Games tournament series, and supported by the eSport.fund. All the arrangements are in place for the tournament to be held in August 2021. Unfortunately, I have some disappointing news for you. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation in Russia and across the world, I am compelled to postpone the offline event until summer next year. The main reason for the postponement is the severe travel restrictions that will prevent most players from getting to Russia. For example, citizens from the US will not be allowed to depart, and EU citizens will not be allowed to land in Russia. We considered various options but could not find a definitive solution for going ahead with the event under the prevailing circumstances. If we had gone ahead with the tournament, more than half the champions would have missed the event this summer. Please accept my sincere apologies for not meeting your expectations this time, and I hope to make up for it next year. In the meanwhile, please stay safe and follow up on your vaccine schedules so that you are duly vaccinated by June 2022, latest. Players who are not vaccinated by then will be traveling at their own risk and expense. I wish you all a safe and healthy time until we can all meet up next year. Rus_Brain

The LAN should be a place where as many people as possible have the opportunity to meet their e-friends - we will take full advantage of it next year!

Will RCG 2021(2) be played in Vladivostock regardless or is the location not decided upon yet? I cannot imagine esport.fund running 2 RCG's in 1 year with the whole organisation and playoffs etc etc for RCG 2022 on top.
