 Cross is expressly allowed to override the "Korean ban" rule, where "Korean" was determined by a player's citizenship.Cross is expressly allowed to play as   Cross, albeit his formal citizenship is still Korean. Banning Cross has no practical use to anyone. Everyone seems to accept Cross as a Canadian player throughout a number of online tournaments. | ||

This is to remind you that RCG 2021 Qualification Americas will take place on June 5, 2021, at 15:00 EDT. Server: US West, Channel: op rcg2021. The best two will qualify. Please sign up here.+ Show Spoiler + I've got a troll-driven question, whether players from Greenland are eligible to participate, and my response is Yes. They are double-eligible to play both from the Americas (by location) and Europe (being an autonomous region of an EU country). Europe qualification will take place on June 6, 2021; at 15:00 CET. I wanted to ask a quick question: Why this time there isn't a latam and NA qualifier separated? Wouldn't this bring lag issues? Are there less slots? Thxs in advance | ||

There is a rule to keep the region accountable for every player, and my eSport.fund committee and I considered dropping out NA quali. However, there is a number of things we considered except this rule alone. Past NA champions devotion, past performance in the finals, costs, and expenses to name a few. Eventually, we decided that it will be much fair to unite both Americas into one pool. Considering   Dandy and TerrOr already qualified via BSL we anticipate real struggle and competition for these two more slots.At the same time, there were at least nine chances for NA and LatAm to qualify in 2021 against four chances in 2020 and just three in 2019. Thus, the chances increased for both NA and LatAm. Surely we will see condensed top skill outside Korea  | ||
