Very Very hard to play against BC+ mech in this patch. Got bopped by it all day. sOos game seemed hopeless.
Not sure what unit to build vs that tbh.. Its hard to choose because it depends what their max army look like and its always hard to tell just how many bcs there are and what not.
I really feel like hydras should be stronger vs BCs, and honestly the teleport+ shoot while moving seems a bit much.
Problem is if you overmake corruptors you almost 100% die, since broodlords dont work anymore.

soO's games were hardly hopeless. First late game mech he lost he WAY over made Mutalisks to the point where he lost FIFTY of them. When you make that many Mutalisks you're basically all in, he didn't deal the kind of crippling damage he needed to with them to make having that many of them worth it.
In both games he throws away Broodlords because he didn't have any Corruptors to protect them from Special's air units.
In both games he doesn't utilize spellcasters correctly. In the first game he hardly uses them at all (old soO wouldn't make them period) and in the second game he doesn't utilize Neural Parasite until after the rest of his army is already gone so a single scan just wipes all of his Infestors out.
soO's late game looked weak, just like it usually does. soO is a notoriously infamous midgame Zerg. He thrives at Lair tech, that's where he likes to play.
Special's game plan from the get go was to not play Bio/Mine vs Zergling/Baneling/Mutalisk, he refused to play the type of game soO is good at.
It was a good strategy.

Zergs have been going 100 drone muta/ling/bane vs it. Have to be on point with runbys and counterattacks and that's not really soO's strength. Special played vs his style so damn well.

Special has had some epic moments as a side caster (papi BC lol), I believe it was at HSC. His English was IMO better than the average non-native speaking player, which should be expected by a guy who has traveled that much and has taken the trouble to learn Korean.

Happy for special, sad for soO. Very fun games tonight I thought, though.
Terran looks a bit too strong against Zerg sadly, but we’ll see. SoO isn’t a great late game player, and he knows that which is why he was late to get to vipers and other hive units every game
Edit: Also just watched all the games. Why the f did Zest not have any defenses on golden wall. He basically scouted a 1-1-1 and every 1-1-1 build on that map features the hellion drop at that blind spot. Didn’t even have a shield battery anywhere in his base

BC build against Zsrg pretty strong

Just managed to catch the games and dam, I was super happy for Special but sad for soO... like most of us here I am reading
Sad times if he does bow out to the army...
Also am really not liking pvp one bit... Artosis said that there was a time that pvp was fun with mothership cores and so on... does anyone else agree?
