Dating one wouldn't do anything but get people to eye you suspiciously. why would you date someone you can't have sex with? Isn't that called ugh... being friends?

Whilst there were 4 qualifiers for the NA region, there were only 2 qualifiers for the SA region. Hence only 2 people could attend from SA and got a higher seed. Dandy and Terror were the winner of the SA qualifier, but couldnt attend due to visa issues and only Ultra was able to obtain a visa and claim a SA spot. Last seeding spot was then given to Dragon due to the nature of him being the only protoss in the tournament.

The remastered event style worked well for that event, but this is a huge tournament. Maybe I'm just an old fuddy duddy and stuck in the past, but I'm not a big fan of this style of casting. I'm still enjoying the event though.

I'm just a little sad that only Day9 is the only person who seems to want to talk about the tournament at hand in a $20k tournament The remastered event style worked well for that event, but this is a huge tournament. It gives context to people who may not be familiar with Brood War or the foreign scene. It puts a lot of character into this tournament instead of just the play by play and the analysis, which I think is important for the future of the scene. Personality and the feel of community is absolutely paramount for the foreign scene, imo.

I think the things you are talking about are important but that if they flipped the ratio of actually talking about the game versus banter it would be a lot better. It's like 75% banter 25% casting with Day9 being 80% of that 25%. It gets tiresome quickly, at least for me.
