I have been stumped, i recently reached 1900+ on the ladder, and now things have become harder than before.
So I need help.
I have uploaded some replays, or if anyone wants to PM me and i can hop on a discord and walk me through my replays. I really just need to be enlightened.
I don't really know how to make this type of thread, since its my first try. And yeah. I Have 3 replays ill post here. but again just send me a PM if you'd find it easier to discord/host replay, or just post notes in this thread.
Thanks for anyone to take the time to post.
Umm, where can i host replays, i just tried to download the uploaded replays from bwreplays, and it said I'll need 1.18 for it to work correctly? im confused about that.
in case they do work though:

I watched pvsp1: you play the entire game blind, even when you get your obs out you dont have a good scout on him. I think it's important to be active on the map with your initial dragoons so you can get an idea of when he expands and what his dragoon count is like (so you can infer if he is spending gas elsewhere, like early DTs).
You also made 1 reaver out of your robo and then didn't make anything else for several minutes. Meanwhile he made 2 reavers and a shuttle and attacked you. Typically you build obs-reaver-shuttle out of your robo, though not necessarily in that order, before making another reaver or changing tech, etc.

I'm no PvZ expert by any means, but these are the things I picked up that you might want to consider:
- You scouted 3 and 6 instead of going straight the nearest mains. There's really nothing to gain by doing this, and you're losing a lot info gathering time. As a result, you had no idea what Z was for much longer than necessary.
- At 3:00 you had 400 minerals, but made a zealot and a probe instead of getting a nexus faster. Had you scouted normally, you would've know he was at 7, been able to send the zealot straight there, he would've been forced to keep his lings back, and it would've been safe to delay the zealot a few seconds.
- You invested a lot in early zealots, but didn't really slow down the zerg at all while delaying your own expansion and tech significantly (compared to forge first). He made one extra pair of lings after seeing the gateway and that was it. He camped untouched outside your choke with 8 lings knowing he can just drone up safely for the entire early game. It's important that you a) scout how many lings are there, b) attack them with a winning amount of zeals (1-2:1, 2-4:2, 5-8: 3) and c) at least pretend to head towards his bases as he loses vision, especially if you don't see an overlord there. If all of this is too much on top macroing and getting your build right, rather just go forge first.
- Work on optimizing your build order, you shouldn't be getting supply blocked at 25, and you had more than enough minerals to get the third pylon down in time along with everything else you were doing.
- You researched storm, but made an archon with your first 2 templar, 500 gas that did nothing for several minutes. Those storms would've been very handy against the lurkers that camped outside your natural, and after seeing Lurkers that early, you really do need to an extra cannon or two at the front for detection while you get your obs up. Basically at this point, the game was strategically won, as you were on two bases while zerg could double expand behind three lurkers. The DT denied one of them, but his economy was so huge that it didn't matter. By the time you got your third, you were almost mined out, so even though you secured a 4th, you only had a brief period of actually mining from more than 2 bases.
In conclusion, I would suggest working on: - Scouting in the early and mid game - Cleaning up your build order - Finding ways to pressure zerg earlier on so he can't drone up for free, and/or have a plan to take a third consistently and earlier.

Ah this explains it. We played yesterday on ladder (I think) and it looked like you were at 15xx rating, but you felt a hell of a lot better than that.
You did a really good job scouting against me, that's for sure; at least in the first 8 minutes of the game for sure.
I'd offer more, but right now I'm not entirely sure what you're looking for. You say your stumped, but not why/how, and then post up a few replays. I mean we can look at those replays and figure out what went wrong there; but saying you're stumped suggests to me you don't really have a clear gameplan of what you want to do and why your losing.
Can you put any explanation on where you start to feel lost in PvZ?

Can you put any explanation on where you start to feel lost in PvZ? I actually forget what our game looked like at the moment. But I'll pm you next time I'm around the PC.
