To be honest 2v2 wasn't really in play when I started following scene, and I'm just wondering if there were any notable 2v2 games back in the day (prior to 2007?), especially longer drawn out games, from my understanding that is a bit uncommon in 2v2, but either way I'd love to watch some 2v2, if anyone knows of any good games

It favours long games because of the semi-island design. http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft/Iron_Curtain One good way is to go through the 2v2 map sectiosn for liquepedia and check out the recommended games. http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft/Category:Maps_(2v2)

Justin absolutely sucked in 1v1 and got caught up in the matchfix scandal later on. Notable proleague maps made for 2v2 are Hannibal and Vampire (both of which were in previous iccup map packs)

Any idea why they didn't push maps like Iron Curtain further for 2v2? Or why they didn't try shared based 2v2 in BW, that would have pushed for long 2v2s
