Depends how the spells work Discharge, for example, applies instantly to the aoe whereas something like magma orb doesn't hit instantly so they would synergize assuming you do lightning or cold discharge and not fire. you'd kinda have to test to see when the spells hit but as long as it's not truly simultaneous I think it would work well
Plus you can always run some added ele dmg to ur attacks in order to proc EE for the spells that follow the attack right? Basically you can usually figure out a way to make it work and it kinda owns

Another thing to consider is that whether the spell triggers on crit is rolled individually according to the wiki. So you might get unlucky streaks which could e.g. affect your life/mana leech if you rely on that for staying alive.

Instant + non-instant is going to be pretty bad most of the time. The instant will disco-inferno on itself while the non-instant starts spawning its projectiles and they travel. It won't actually start being beneficial until you're standing still holding down the CoC button and letting out a constant stream of stuff.
So worse for: White packs, blue packs, rares, weak uniques, scary map bosses that you want to move against. Better for: Dried Lake Voll.
Non-instant + non-instant is going to be pretty bad almost all the time. You would need spells with similar travel speeds and hitboxes and even then the 70% cast chance means you can't actually set it up to be a Symphony Of Spells, you're going to need each element to just be a solid wave of damage.
Instant + instant on the other hand can actually work. But the 70% chance is still going to be a thing unless you're blowing well past the CoC cooldown and the math for if it's good and how good it is makes me dizzy.
With the spells it would take to actually get it running it's hard to imagine it could ever be better than just using good spells.

Just beat normal mode Is cruel just basically the equivalent of Diablo's nightmare mode? Extra resistances/ traits on the monsters, experience loss penalty on deaths, rarer drops, otherwise same quests and strategies as normal mode, etc.?

cruels the same experience but you get -5% xp when you die (if ur softcore idk) and you have -20% to your total resistances so you need more from gear/passives

Cruel is the most pointless difficulty in the game, its ezmode tbh. You will find that once you beat act 4 of one difficulty the game difficulty is a non-issue until you get to act4 again.

With freezing pulse, should I use LMP or GMP? Apparently each minion is only hit by one fp projectile (no more shotgunning?), and I'm not sure if I need the arc that five projectiles allows at the expense of dps/ mana.

It doesn't suck, it's still quite strong. I'd rather use GMP instead of LMP for more clear speed, but it's up to you.
It only sucks when compared to other OP spells. Not hard to make a strong build with Freezing Pulse.

I would say give me your t10+ maps on HC. But you still haven't changed your machine, right? So I assume you are in SC.
Just start another character build you want to do. That's what I would do. Or use the new trade improvements that came on april 1st and become rich.

I did it. Lab enchantments done, 4 hours of chain lab runs with 5 minute clears to get 2 helm and a boot enchantment. Now its just pay2lookcool and zana left. 40/40 inc.
