Play some amateur maps that leave room for creativity, some of my favorites are Waiting to panic, and Iron Flush. you can find a bunch of cool maps on broodwarmaps.net Also just fuck around, don't play seriously every damn time. Experiment with fun and retarded strats. I get so sick of python when i ZvP on there one game i pulled off this insane fake vs an FE protoss where he goes FE and sees me 2hatching (muta tech) fast lair and all next time he scouted he saw hydra, he makes around 9 cannons at his main while having i beleive 1 at his front, becuase mutas werent expected yet. Then next thing he knows he has hydras in his main due to slow drops. It was an awesome strat that i had a fun time executing that i wasn't too sure about its effectiveness, but i had fun abusing on a map that left little to no room for creativity. Imagine the potential on a map like Waiting to Panic, or Monty Hall? Jesus fuck i love it.

python forces me to work on my end game. i never used to use emp, but now i do. templar and arbiters will pwn 200 3/3 terran army, but emp > all. i think also maybe because i didn't have enough vultures in my army. i had about 5 control groups of units: 2 control groups of tanks, 2 of goliaths, and 1 of vultures. maybe i neaded more vultures and less goliaths?

On a serious note, I understand what you say about TvP. It really seems very standardized. This is one of the reasons why I play more and more Zerg recently.

You say you are bored. That means you play this game to have some fun. However, instead of actually using strategies that guarantee some fun, you copy the pros and by doing that you are actually doing the strategies that are made to fullfill their goal, which is highest possible win percentage. So, if you have your own goal, why imitate someone who is playing this game for entirely different reasons? Solution: experiment. Builds, maps, offrace, you name it.
