He just let his play speak for itself.
That's because aside from his GSL runs and that one MLG he didn't really do much else

But Jinro did it at a time when nothing was figured out yet. Scarlett and Naniwa did it when Koreans took over SC2
Yeah which is why I don't really know how to rate Jinro's achievements. Pretty high of course, but I would have wanted to see him in 2012.

SC2 has been Korean dominated its entire existence. The only time you can ever point saying foreigners were even remotely competitive was TLS3 but it was extremely obvious to anyone watching those games the Koreans had unplayable lag.
There has been competitive foreigners (people that could take series out of Koreans) at virtually every point. Jinro, Thorzain, NaNiwa, Stephano, Scarlett, Snute...

1-gate proxy probably beats Nexus-first at least right?

one gate proxy is pretty strong if the other guy doesn't have a cancellable zealot on the way.

I'm talking wholesale foreign scene competitive vs KR. Not one guy being competitive.

yeah ofc... I guess the whole foreign scene will likely never be on par with the Korean scene. At least TL and Millenium are trying to give themselves the means to fight on an even ground.
