Wtf that's way too many doodads for a The_Templar map d: Nah seriously good map. I just wish these gold bases were standard bases. And the aesthetics are... Decent, I guess?^^
This is probably your best map yet, certainly my favorite of yours that I can remember. It's a step up in terms of layout and aesthetics, and with the gold base + name, it makes a fine satire of Blizzard's maps.

No rocks = not a blizzard map
To be fair, 2 of Blizzard's 3 new maps have no rocks. Remember, Dustin Browder is busy with Heroes these days.
Think I did a triple take because I didn't think it was possible this was a Templar map! :D Nice work!
A couple of the passages if you expand counter-clockwise might be a little tight. Also not sure if I care for the high ground cliffs by the CCW 4ths. Would rather them be on low ground then it would add another "tight" ground path to that third. It might also be a little on the big side. 144x160 isn't bad, but I think you could probably shrink it to like 144x144 and still be fine.
passages seem a wee bit tight. just looking at the map im like, damn thats a lot of ramps and different chokes. i would consider widening things a bit.
be careful about that gold, remember golds are high risk high reward. i dont think the golds have enough risk to compensate for the reward. i would prefer them regular bases.
otherwise good map. you've come a long way templar, i remember you when you were still a newbie at map making and i was giving you tips about them thirds
Definitely best Templar map so far, nice work. But why no protoss geysers?
Also it does a poor job of being a blizz map, everyone knows blizz maps are just flat planes where the only terrain features are random bases and arbitrarily scattered obstacles. This one has too much actually meaningful terrain, lol.
