Now don't get me wrong, I love your passion for SC2 and it is a great game, but I want to break this down. As much as you three like Starcraft, it's okay for someone to get tired of playing a game. This is BabyKnight's HoTS retirement thread and he took the time to explain his decision. What is there to not get!?! What the hell does this mean? This is BabyKnights explanation of why HE is retiring. It doesn't mean that is the opinion of every person playing Starcraft professionally. Whether you are pro or anti SC2, Idk why anyone needs to think that he's trying to brainwash the community into thinking the game is no longer fun. So you went from: I don't get this retirement post ->I really like this game so I don't get why he retires ->You think SC2 is greater then MOBAS ->I get why he retires, it's because for some reason people like team games (not that this was "one of the toughest decisions of life" and he wants to try something new) ->Some random comparison to FPS games ->I really don't understand all the foreigner vs korean crap Your train of thought is all over the place here man. Why are you trying to incite so many ideas in someones head at once? And for the people of QFT this post, what part of it are you refering to here? How about a more high content reply supporting whichever of the 10 thoughts in the original post you are supporting. If you'd be capable of understanding how quotations work you'd realize that my post was not a reply to babyknight's statement whatsover. I was simply talking about a) a dude saying that we all know that playing star 2 is no fun and b) people saying star 2 was shit because of Korean dominance.

This is obviously not the perfect place for this question, but now that you are the second frenchman saying BBK was not all that much liked by the team - what's the deal with that?

I didn't realize the guy who quoted you didn't quote the whole post. Sorry. That's why reading your post was confusing.

On the news at hand. Babyknight retired from DOTA at a time when only Chinese teams (and Na'VI) were playing it like a team game. The western scene back then was all about being good at farming and buying BoT as 1st item and hard carries playing a central role. DOTA has changed a lot since then. My advice for him would be to attempt to learn the game that DOTA has become and not to stick to his understanding of the game he used to play. He had sick reactions in DOTA1 and I am pretty sure SC2 sharpened them even more.
