Today marks the end of a big part of my life.
Today, I am no longer a StarCraft II pro gamer.
This has been one of the toughest decisions I've ever had to make,
and I've taken a lot of time to think about it to make sure it is the right one.

Recently, I started playing DotA again, and I realized that right now this is the game
that I can play for almost unlimited amount of hours with no breaks. Whereas StarCraft II has become to me, a game that I have to force myself really hard to play.
It's not that I've lost all my passion for StarCraft. It really isn't.
I still love the game, the community and the tournaments.
The problem is, if I don't practice, I can't do well enough in tournaments to satisfy myself.
I get really depressed and it's just not a healthy situation.

I used to be able to play 6-10 hours a day easily, in WoL when I was incredibly motivated, and it showed in my results. Even though I never won a big tournament, I had some really solid finishes at the biggest tournaments.

I'm sorry to all the fans who still cheer for me in SC2, I hope you will continue through
my transition into DotA 2, and know that I really really appreciate you all! <3

I will play my WCS matches while I'm still part of the system, but if/once I'm knocked completely out (of Challenger) you probably won't be seeing me play StarCraft II for quite some time.
I will try out the game when Legacy of the Void comes out, but I can't promise I will be back.

I have always seen you as the dota player since the Dota League days. Seeing you up there with the other high ranked players and your sweet replays. I think this is the right thing for you man! 2009-2010, those were the days!

Best of luck!

Welcome back (:
When you come back, pls, tell to Online Kingdom, that it's time to finally come back as well, Valve will probably rework SF's model before this time.

That's sad to hear Jon, you're still a great player. Good luck anyway on DotA 2, maybe TI5 ?

A wise decision to follow your passion, you showed incredible improvement in SC2 while motivated, I am sure if you put in as much time back into DotA 2 then you'll quickly become a valuable member of any pro team. Good luck and have fun!

I am really sad to hear that, both as a fan, but also as a Dane. We don't have a lot of SC2 players, and it is a shame to lose one of our only pro players.

Most comments on the Millenium website have been pretty harsh toward BBK ever since the day he joined the team. Millenium is the 2~3 most visited French video game website (and Munsu is one of the guy who posts the most on it).

what a great news !!

As a Millenium fan, I'm so excited that you leave the lineup, and even SC2 ! I wonder how you will be able to play Dota2, which require 5 players for a game...5 players who are not suddenly sick (or have cold, or diarrhea, or pneumonia, or anyelse...) when there is a clanwar

Because of the rules, I can't insult you, so just bye (and please don't come back in France ! oh yes...you forgot your taxi and your fly...:D)

Yes indeed. Millenium website and webtv is like a close community and BBK wasn't really appreciated, there is a lot of raison (the most obvious is his lack of team spirit, the way that he frequently avoid the clan wars or even some tournament)

Sorry for didn't be more clear in my first post, english isn't my strenght :D

(but i'm also convainced that his behavior irritate some people in Millenium staff)

I still think there should be more when pros are retiring or switching the game. There used to be some kind of fun element before, what is the game missing now and the second has it? Maps? State of community? Graphic design? Balance? :-)

I can understand they do not want to shut the doors in case they want to return, though more specific reason could help to change the game before the LotV is out.

(and the same wish I have to people leaving company where I work. Speak the truth, maybe they will change somethign for your colleagues who cannot change work because of family/they are cowards/..)

But - GL HF, I always liked to watch you. You was one of those micro gods I wanna be like and never be able to I hope I meet you in Heroes once Heroes are public
I imagine France should be able to take this unless Lilbow is busy practicing for Starcraft III. | KadaverBB is my fairy ban mother.

I know the progamers always want to do well so they want to try their hardest and aren't exactly happy if they lose. But I don't know how many of them realize their fans just like to watch their games and see them as a person (almost entirely) regardless of if they win or lose.

Sucks. But good luck I suppose. Do what you're happy with.

Haha algue I was about to say it too. Indeed not a single word for Millenium. This says much about his mentality.
As a long time supporter of Millenium I have to say that I did not like his behaviour during the time he was in there.
I wish him the best for his new career but I am far from regretting him.

Nobody can play the same game for 8 hours a day forever, no matter how good the game is/how much you love it. If practicing becomes a burden, then finding a new game to be passionate about is a great decision. Much respect and good luck man!

It depends on what your definition of fun is. In general, I prefer LoL to DotA2 but think that games like that are quite a bit more fun than SC2 overall. There's also some things like plenty of opportunities to make amazing / big plays in nearly every match and having 9 people see them instead of just one who's going to be hating you anyway. The social aspect is also very different if you play with cool people.

Depends on the person. I know someone who can play MOBA games all day and never get bored. I can only stand about 1 or 2 games of LoL/DotA before becoming bored. Seeing as BBK was a DotA1 player, he probably loves those styles of games.

YES! I was always hoping he would come back to Dota2. My favourite Pubplayer in Dota 1 (#1 DotaLeague). He had mad skills but couldnt find a fitting Team, MYM was only Okay-ish back then. Sadly i remember him flaming the whole Dotacommunity hard while switching to Starcraft. That was kind of a dickmove. Whatever, welcome back!

Best of luck. It hasn't gotten easier to get to the top in DotA 2, but as long as you have fun while doing it, and practicing, it is a big plus. Finding a likeminded team that synergizes with you is the hardest though.

WC3 DotA competitive scene is not nearly as large as the DotA 2 scene...I mean the International already raised $6.5 million in prize money alone.

Sad to see you go BBK, but if its for the best for your mental state of mind and for your enjoyment, then no one can fault you for that.

GLHF in the future, yo.

He was way way better than Select in Dota1.I have no doubts he will be in top team soon.

You heard it here first: If they don't qualify for TI4, MYM.BabyKnight.

There is no possible way he will play on TI4 cuz the main teams and the qualifier teams are already selected. And current MYM is pretty trash so I hope that he will not go there lol.

Yea, he was part of MYM back then, together with Maelk and crew. Admittedly, everyone was part of MYM at some point, but he definetly wasn't a no-name.

I hope you come back to SC2. Always sad when a programer leaves the scene. Dota or LoL...pshhh. These casual/lazy games will only momentary satisfy your itch for a little more fame/money.

D'oh, sad to see you leaving the pro scene. I don't know of any SC2 pros that have ever found significant success in DoTA or LoL, but I wish you luck in bucking that trend. Thanks for all the entertaining games.

Whatever, one protoss more, one protoss less. I dont have anything against BabyK as a person, seems like hes very nice and polite guy and I wish him a best of luck in his new game, but as a part of sc2 community I dont see anything tragic or bad in this sutiation. As I sayed, one eu toss more, one eu toss less, no one will even notice.

Pretty much this. Main reason to have motivation to play this game is attending tournaments. Prime Example is IdrA.

Why do people trot out these lines as some immutable factual truth?

People are all different you know? Idra never really seemed to enjoy the game, but his competitive spirit kept him playing despite that and I'm sure he's not alone. I don't think it's beyond the realms of possibility to think that some pros actually enjoy the game though. :p

Thats a good decision. Starcraft has a limited time left and koreans are fkin everywhere making tournaments boring. Good luck.

Good luck man, you always surprised me with your Sc2 results (because I wasn't very impressed with the dota (hon? dunno) games I saw from you. I thought you were a mediocre player but you proved me wrong many times. Good decision, I hope you'll find friends/satisfaction/success and fun in no particular order. I too, found myself playing dota2 far more than SC2 ever since HotS came out. Blizzard just don't seem to care enough about SC2 for me to remain interested in it.Its not like there aren't things for Blizzard to improve on the game/bnet, they refuse to dedicate a decent amount of resources to it and I'm tired of their excuses, failed promises and PR dribble.

So Enjoy Dota2 babyknight I support you!

Actually, koreans are what makes tournaments interesting.
Wishing BK to achieve success in Dota (though i have absolutely 0 interest in MOBA). As for me, i see this foreign scene shrinking thing as something inevitable and logical. This game is meant to be played by koreans. There always will be a few Stephanos and Naniwas here and there to amuse us. But overall, whatching tournaments w/o decent koreans is the most boring thing (including WCS EU/AM).
Less is more.

I really really don't get this. Personally, I really really enjoy playing a somewhat hard game (though fairly easy compared to bw) with a skill gap that you'll probably never reach. Starcraft 2 has been my favourite game to play for over 2 years now and I often find myself not playing other games/finishing singleplayer games because I just end up playing starcraft. By no means am I pro and I don't even play in online tournaments, I simply enjoy constantly improving in a game that puts all responsibility on myself. Especially given that nowadays most games are made to be as accessible for newbies as possible (or how I like to call it made so your grandma can be good at it) I just really appreciate how hard starcraft is if you don't have any experience in bw/war3. I think hots is far better and more fun to play than wol and I find mobas to be very unfun to play for several reasons.

So you might wanna be careful with the word everyone, as there are plenty of people who genuinely enjoy playing star 2. I think it's more of a matter of people preferring team games and not being able to deal with the pressure that comes with playing 1 v 1. I mean 1 v 1 games have always been less popular than team games, kinda how 5 v 5 CS ended up being way more popular than 1 v 1 Quake.

Also I really don't understand all the foreigner vs korean crap. I couldn't care less about someones ethical background, jesus I watch pro gamers because I wanna be blown away by how good they are, not by them speaking English or being funny on camera. Koreans work the hardest and put in the most amount of time while showing the highest quality of games so they deserve to be in the dominant position they are in. I personally prefer watching whoever shows the best games not who has the same skin color as I.

"hard game" is a completely useless word in every computer-game. Playing against equipollent opponents is far more enjoyable and important! Look Flash without JD, Fantasy & Bisu etc in BW or Moon without Grubby, Sky etc in WC3.

My biggest dislike is sc2-design: 200/200 takes ~2sec fights, buildorder wins, only hardcounter units etc.

Most probably won't remember, but BabyKnight played DotA before he made the switch to SC2.
There's even a tribute song dedicated to him by his old captain, Drayich.

I suddenly recalled the conversation that we had a month ago when playing CS:GO and I said something like Jon, you gotta try Dota again, I always remember those times of Dota League when I supported your pretty ass playing SF and often cry myself to sleep

Jon said the he cant, that hes a fulltime SC progamer and he cant get addicted to anything else then SC

I just hope that the whole TL wont kill me for that, lets all cheer for Babyknight in Dota because this guy still has it! <3

Maybe to you, not to me. I'd much rather watch Flash without JD/Stork/Bisu in a game as hard as brood war (not it's not useless, brood war is so fucking hard to even makro/micro probably in that just seeing somebody do that properly is really impressive, whereas in star 2 just makroing perfectly is a lot less impressive as it's way easier to do) than having an inferior/easier game like say call of duty with close competition. Games have been continuously dumbed down since the end of the 20th century and that trend is continuing. UT is a dumbed down version of Quake just as SC2 is way easier than BW. Or how fps essentially went from fast past arena games to slow as fuck games like call of duty that reduced aiming to the point of my grandma being able to do it.

Maybe to you a games difficulty is unimportant and you simply care about close competition, for me the joy of watching progamers, in any game, is them doing shit that I can't even imagine doing myself due to the difficulty of the game.

So Enjoy Dota2 babyknight I support you!

was discussing this with a friend recently.

Although it is known that some races are worse in lategame then others even since WoL, there were only small or unreasonable changes made by blizzard. And from patch to patch you can only hope that they finally make a big change.
So the game at first startet to get boring to play and now boring to watch. Be it because of always the same matchups, or because WHEN these matchups happen, there is almost no variation, or - and this bugs me most, there is a boring macro-up phase, one waaaay to fast fight and then its over. More frustrating from a bio terran point of view is, when you watch the terran, that constantly harasses, drops, makes damage while the other player (protoss, zerg and sometimes even terran, so no balance whine intended) leans back and builds his army and walks over the terran with his big lategame army. Be it thx to fungal, blinding cloud, banelinghits or bombs, uncatchable mutas that regen or because of 3 storms - army gone, then walk over with colossi and archons or whatever, or be it bc of the huge mech ball...
I've had enough of blizzards "game is fine, we have 50% winrate", the game just doesn't feel it needs the same effort for every race, and it rewards all-ins too much and therefore the holy grail "randomness" that was so key in the developement prevents from the very best players dominating - which would be what they earn but never get in sc2. Or did we ever get to see a player dominating and winning every tournament he participatet over several months like we saw it in BW, where we called them players "god" or "god of war"?.
I was tired of the constant balance whine, when some races got some abilities, that blizzard will never change, although they clearly need less skill then in BW to make this ability work efficiently. Warpin, Inject, Mule, Chrono (that, as funny as it is, isn't even required to be used in the endgame, but SHOULDN'T it be? Cause it is an awesome ability...but you can win without accelerating building units I guess. So many Nexi always having full engery),Blink (at least in the allins, I don't mind it in "normal" play, where it is necessary for the toss (e.g. in fight against fee units spawners like BL or SH). Brood Loards and SH and Fungal Change (whoever watched GSL saw, that if it is used right, it is still extremely powerful...), also no WM anymore but something different, no muta regen (were Mutas UP in WoL?)....

but that is something, that doesn't belong here, and Blizzard won't change it, not even with the addons. Switching races gave me the satisfaction for now (complaining that other races are imba is stupid as long as you don't play the race to the max. But then I am no pro gamer, so switching races helps to get easier wins in leagues beyond GM), and because it is more rewarding/entertaining for a period of time, I understand the switch of a race or even a game and with Babyknight, who I always enjoyed watching,(and that is even though it is the race I found least entertaining to watch, mind you), and hope he enjoys Dota2. Cause If he wan'ts to be a Pro there, he will play it several hours a day, for several months or years even - and therefore I hope what he does for several months or years, he really enjoys.

And IF there are major changes in the Protoss-Addon, and BK comes back, I will gladly welcome him back and watch his games again

Wow that's sad, I thought you were a really likeable guy and not only were you a good player but a good caster as well, which I noticed at HSC. Either way best of luck with Dota, I don't really like the game so I don't really see how I could support you as I don't follow the game, but I certainly hope you will do well. Hopefully you will be back in lotv!

I will play my WCS matches while I'm still part of the system, but if/once I'm knocked completely out (of Challenger) you probably won't be seeing me play StarCraft II for quite some time.

Fuck me, can we stop with the game vs game pissing contests?

I don't mean to backseat mod, just expressing my increasing exasperation over threads that are ostensibly about wish pro players well in their new endeavours, guys who have brought memorable to moments and it becomes a venting point for people's' personal gaming proclivities.

No, you have to play those games just as much if you want to be a succesful pro. Basically as much time as you can afford without burning out.
Also I think almost none of these sc2 players that switched to Dota or LoL have actually reached pro level. Actually I cant come up with a single one that made it. Just a few bw players that switched very early to LoL. Highly doubtful BabyKnight will make it either, but he is doing what he has motivation to do.

Your post is bad and you should feel bad. BabyKnight was a pro/semipro DotA player for years before SC2 was even released, that's why it's easy for him to transition back into it.

As someone who played against BabyKnight several times in DotA, I am actually happy to hear that he's returning to it. He was one of the most talented players in the world, and could have had even more success if he had stuck with the game. Good luck BabyKnight!

So saddened by this. I don't generally like a lot of protoss players but Babyknight seemed like one of the awesome ones. Too bad he's making a switch. Ah well, I was gonna watch more Dota this year anyway.

So you might wanna be careful with the word everyone, as there are plenty of people who genuinely enjoy playing star 2. What the hell does this mean? This is BabyKnights explanation of why HE is retiring. It doesn't mean that is the opinion of every person playing Starcraft professionally. Whether you are pro or anti SC2, Idk why anyone needs to think that he's trying to brainwash the community into thinking the game is no longer fun.

Your train of thought is all over the place here man. Why are you trying to incite so many ideas in someones head at once? And for the people of QFT this post, what part of it are you refering to here? How about a more high content reply supporting whichever of the 10 thoughts in the original post you are supporting.

If you'd be capable of understanding how quotations work you'd realize that my post was not a reply to babyknight's statement whatsover. I was simply talking about a) a dude saying that we all know that playing star 2 is no fun and b) people saying star 2 was shit because of Korean dominance.

Good luck. Enjoyed your games. Smart to do what's best for you. SC2 can be a lonely game while Dota2 has the camaraderie of the team, supporting each other in losing and celebrating with you in winning (you would hope). Yes, there are teams in SC2 but often you are not close geographically or socially and the pressure to win lies on your shoulders alone. GLHF

Having read this thread and other threads in which the SC2 community expresses its thoughts on DOTA2 I must point out that there is a big misconception in how RTS fans perceive DOTA2. The mechanical requirements for DOTA2 are very low. This means that having the best micro in SC2 or being a beastly macro Zerg will help you in absolutely no way in DOTA2 and that you need to learn different things in order to be good at the game. Its true that DOTA is a team game but I'll include and individual player example to illustrate exactly what I mean. There are moments when the carry player which is supposed to be most efficient in his play and movements has to literary stop playing the game for 30 seconds and "hide in the trees". To DOTA players this is good map awareness, good game knowledge, good read on the game and "knowing what's going on". To SC2 players this is a paradox. Because "how can not pressing a single button for 30 seconds be considered skill". Yet this player will never feed kills and win games. Whereas Select and his 400 APM will never win mid, never RP on time and usually feed kills that no semi-pro dota player would feed.
On the news at hand. Babyknight retired from DOTA at a time when only Chinese teams (and Na'VI) were playing it like a team game. The western scene back then was all about being good at farming and buying BoT as 1st item and hard carries playing a central role. DOTA has changed a lot since then. My advice for him would be to attempt to learn the game that DOTA has become and not to stick to his understanding of the game he used to play. He had sick reactions in DOTA1 and I am pretty sure SC2 sharpened them even more.

He bailed on clan war numerous times, refused to participate in qualifiers without reasons. It started very early after arriving, and it kept on. It's a bit overblown by Mun_Su perhaps but Millenium fans are getting desperate and he did nothing to make us change our minds.

Babyknight was one of my favorite players, I used to scope out the groups and make sure I was up when BBK was playing, even without making it to Finals he was still entertaining to watch. Best of luck to you BBK in all your future endeavors.

Maybe with this decision he's losing as many fans as he's gaining in the DotA scene. So maybe he's breaking even but playing a game he enjoys more?

Shit, I voted for him hin on Liquibit I hope they remove the vote, kinda unfair with this thread now. I don't think he will win his matches with no passion behind. Kinda dissappointing, but I wish him good luck in Dota 2, but I don't think he has any chance with this many Dota 2 teams and high competition.

best of luck!
but you dont need luck, just a bit of practise to become one of the best in dota (again).

im pretty sure you will come back to sc2 sooner or later though, dont force things, do what you have most fun with at the time - you will be good at it no matter what

I can tell cuz i played both, starcraft and dota with / against you. i consider myself quite talented for games - you are on a completly different level, a diamond! <3

Wait with his logic then when (and if) he hits top level DotA competition, wouldn't the same thing happen?

I wish he would have been honest and just came out with the hard truth that SC2 isn't fun when you always strive to "play" to a level above you.

Which is why you see so many people rank down 10-20 games after a win streak to play below their MMR, and also why you see so many diamonds/masters in Obs games or custom games that just LOVE to play vs. unranked or silvers. This is just the same shit on a higher level.

Good luck.
Enjoyable games, but I don't think you were ever going to catch up mechanically to top level players (Koreans).
I don't have any knowledge of original dota professional days so I will just leave it at hope you know what you are doing.

As much as I find mobas despicable and product of unmotivated stoners, I just can't play sc2 without my wrists as they once were or hold a controller. I have a choice to play either dota 2 or forza...
The skill it takes to play dota shocks me everyday. The learning curve on the different heroes and items are literally the only difficult part of the game. Positioning is slightly more advanced than siege tank wars and Micro is a joke while controlling 1 hero and a couple other units.
Getting good to great with mechanics should be easily done by 99% of master players, but are you willing to spend the time to learn close to 120 heroes? And calculate/understand a huge item/recipe pool? While dealing with literally retards for teammates while laddering and/or deal with 4 other personalities on a team? And on top of that catch up to the competent players with 4+ experience on you?
Time for me to start hitting the greens with the other geriatric fucks. Fore!

Yeah, I also agree the title is misleading.

I hope to see you play in Dota 2, best of luck! Better to do it sooner than later if you are losing interest in the game, glad you still have the competitive spirit though. You've brought many good games, and you've made many fans. Even though you didn't win any huge tournaments, I think you have a lot to be proud of, you've been one of the best, if not best Denmark SC2 players of all time!

I don't think for Dota you need to grind games as much to be competitive. A large portion of it is not really mechanics, but rather intuition and problem solving, as well as communication, while SC2 puts more emphasis on muscle memory. They both have their required skills, and I wouldn't say one is harder than the other, but from what I see, the best Dota 2 players don't play nearly as much as the best SC2 players.

I agree with him but I didn't want to post and make a martyr of myself in the stupidest way possible.

Baby knight is only hurting SC2 by doing what he is doing. He may not make it big in dota like he thinks he's going to either. On the reddit thread they are talking about how terribly difficult it is to break into the dota pro scene. One thing is for sure, you've got to be young. I was speaking with an SC2 pro who is trying to become a pro dota that I know personally named pokebunny about this. We concluded that dota is more akin to breaking into the music industry than breaking into say Professional chess like I'm aiming to do. In any case this is just my take. I'm not condemning baby knight but what the guy said has some merit. It was just the way he said it that it that got him
banned.

Wasn't he a high level DoTA player before?

Babyknight doesn't owe the scene shit, he had some good results that he earned from hard work and grew disillusioned with the game. That post you were referencing was ridiculous. It's the mentality that because one is good at something they you are obligated to continue doing it even while not enjoying it that makes me happy that I am not talented at anything.

Real talk: barring TI, is it actually better money? Obviously if you win TI it's good money, but unless you're in the top teams...

No real comment about the extremely subjective first part though.

If you get through a round or two in TI it's better money. The prize pool from the crowd sourcing thing they're doing is insane. Whatever you think of the genre them DOTA2 players get behind their game (and Valve gives them ways to...).

The player pool is big and distinguishing yourself and getting a team seems largely luck/networking based in these things. With the limited mechanics and dependence on coordination and interactions you can't really stand out by smashing up the ladder or the weekly tourneys like you can in SC2. You'd need a good team for that...

To me you are a DotA player over a SC2 player anyway. I still dream about winning vs against you on Dota-League.com.

Aww that's so sad! You were the one leading the way for all the Danes

That being said, I respect your decision! Playing a game full time for a long period of time is really tough and can become quite the chore so it's understandable! Thanks for all the great results and games! You will be missed! Don't you think though that the same will happen with Dota eventually? Good luck with it regardless

Except he isn't going to win any of that money and likely won't win any of it next year. If you think SC2 is competitive, dota is just as rough and there are very good talented teams at the top and tryin to break in.

Certainly what you say has merit, and I think its reasonable to say that it probably does hurt the SC2 scene somewhat whether we like it or not. I also agree in terms of the difficulty of breaking into the dota pro scene.

But I do think those are different things from stating that someone is a 'traitor' for leaving a game. The latter is saying that Babyknight has some sort of obligation to play SC2, or that he 'owes' people to continue playing the game for some reason. I don't think we could derive those conclusions from either of the things that you're saying; they're very separate types of statements.

If he were to say that babyknight was hurting the SC2 scene in an unintentional way, I would probably agree as that is a normal, albeit unintended, consequence when any well known pro-gamer leaves. But 'traitor' has a very different meaning from that and what you're talking about.

You are talking about big bucks then I guess only Jaedong (because foreigner tournaments) is able to make big bucks in two games (BW and SC2).
About "succesful" performance, Neither ~top8 exWC3 nor ~top8 exBW players are succesful in sc2 compared to their ex-game.

100% on the money and agreed

judging the decisions another human being makes about the direction of his life in terms of the obscure pro scene of a computer game is just totally ridiculous and shows a very strange set of priorities. he's a "traitor" because people like one computer game more than another? jesus. i guess i'm a traitor to the grocery store job i quit when i was 19

Because of this idea that people involved somehow have an obligation to said game and 'saving E-Sports' in general. When everything was at its peak people were a lot less demanding in those ways, since SC2 has dropped a bit it seems among a subsection of the community this has conferred a certain set of responsibilities on those involved within the scene.

Best of luck BabyKnight. He had some really impressive performances in his career. I think what I will remember him most from is 2-0'ing Rain (yes, SKT Rain) in the WCS World Championships in 2012, which you can see here:

http://www.twitch.tv/sc2_2/c/1737767

And Rain ended up finishing in 3rd place at that tournament so it's not like he was in a slump.

IMO BabyKnight was the strongest PvP foreigner (and certainly top 5 foreigner P generally) in WoL.

Yes, but so did BabyKnight, so in context of this thread the example should still apply.

He played Warcraft 3 dota mod long time ago, when the scene was not exactly a esport scene with not much competition. Not to mention mechanics of dota 2 are a lot different compared to Warcraft dota.

Best of luck to him.

To all the people from France giving BabyK shit for not mentioning Millennium and maybe not being the best team player: GET THE FUCK OVER YOURSELVES. Seriously you have absolutely no way of knowing what went on behind the scenes between BabyK and Millennium unless there is some article from a member of M that says as much. So shove it. Because you have absolutely no idea.

Well, he missed 6/7 clan wars because he was ill/afk/had Internet issues. He also forfeited several IEM qualifiers because he was in the loser bracket and did not want to play. He also missed the most important bootcamp in the gaming house in Marseilles because he missed his taxi then his flight. The bootcamp was supposed to last one week, he could go to Marseilles the day after but no.

He did not play, did not talk in the Skype chan for Millenium SC2 players.

Yeah, French fans don't like him and I can understand that.

- 2 days after his recruitment, he was engaged into double brackets qualifiers (don't remember the event), reached the semi finals then lose and go to loser bracket, that he forfeited because he was feeling tired/sick (no big deal, but this excuse will be frequent, especially for ATC)
- he didn't want to go to DH Bucharest because his friends told him that the event was not good ("okay princess")
- Millenium organised a bootcamp at the Gaming House (in France) before a tournament, so they paid him the trip, but he "missed" the taxi
- His recruitment was made, inter alia, because of Millenium participation in ATC...but he played around 1/3 clanwars...always same process : when there is a clanwar, BBK didn't show himself, stop activity on Twitter few hours ago, and then the next day says that he was not aware or he was sick (so like a coward)
- He insulted adebisi & Kaelaris on Twitter about the 100k$ IEM event
- He's arrogant (he deafeted, on ATC, Impact, who reached the final at DH...so he was like "I BEAT IMPACT ABOUT A WEEK AGO IN A CLANWAR #JUSTSAYING #DHOpen"...how pathetic)
- Probably more facts that I forgot...

He was interviewed and honestly recognized that he doesn't like team competitions (= "fuck you M for your clanwars"), but he didn't want to go neither to IEM/DH events...you can check his liquipedia's page, and see by yourself what is his achievements/participations between the line on his departure from Na'vi and his arrival in Millenium : absolutely nothing.

Because of his presence on the roster (= salary), M didn't have enough money to recruit a useful player (that we need on ATC)...so the roster was frozen because of him...seriously this guy is a poison

All that certainly sounds rather unprofessional and that is quite a baggage to carry if you want to go into another team. I wonder if BBK will ever comment on any of it though. Maybe he has a different point of view?
