I fail to see how completely cancelling an event that could have been beneficial because of a bunch of people overreacting is a good thing. Would have been better to try and rework it into something better than to just completely drop it. Especially if it was a minimal involvement with SRL then there's not a lot to lose with a lot of potential to bring a bunch of new attention to speedrunning.
Wait, seriously, just like that? I mean yeah i get people were upset and some boycotting it. Machinima i feel was the only negative reason behind it from what i could gather. But im surprised they dropped it completely before even beginning.
What a superb day finally improved my 2:30.64 in Commander Keen 5 -- 2:24.72!!!!! 6 seconds better than previous WR, 7 seconds better than next closest person.
Serious ears warning when the timer is 2:20 until a little bit after it ends though
Lol, still a great watch the second time around. Usually I never went right with the arch-vile jump when I used to use that route because you would typically hit the teleporter. So you got it first try and you somehow slid around the teleporter on the right side.
So Cirno had us take a look at the bonus level that's a donation incentive for the Doom run at AGDQ. How does that even work? Do you just get the enemies to infight constantly? There's so many high health enemies it's hard to believe that you can reliably kill any of them.
Knowing how the BFG rays is pretty big. The rays actually radiate from doom guy no matter when the BFG shot is meaning that direction and your position is more important than the physical shot of the BFG. Most important part is dealing with the archviles, most revenants, barons, hellknights are destroyed by cyberdemons.
But honestly my best recommendation is sticking strafe left on a and strafe right on d if you don't already. Having those as turn left and turn right makes it more difficult to dodge projectiles if you haven't switched those buttons already.
