@Tofu: yamato has a huge spat with marv/hapa for a bit this game. Enough to try and look townie, but not enough to really convince me. Its way more than last game though. I had questions at the start tho. Man, i am not stupid. read the case and pages 8-10 of the game, and think about what Tutankoopa says and how does he act. Ask yourself; Does what he says to me make sense compared to how he acts?
Townies do not forget their intentions behind actions, mafia does (or does not have them). Think about it.

OK rayn due to your vehement request, I reread TK's filter and I've conducted a fairly thorough investigation into this TK 'lie' you are referring to.
I maintain that there is no lie, TK could most certainly be town, and I still don't see any good reason to lynch him today.
First of all, he was correct in saying this
You couldn't even wait for Hopeless to respond before you interrupted and started asking questions.

Second of all, his story checks out. He said he didn't get the damning response for Hopeless that he was fishing for, so there was no reason to follow up on his questions to hopeless.
But he still didn't like that he had to explain why he asked those questions, because it gave away one of his scumhunting strategies to the scumteam.

That bolded statement is simply not true. Townies are human - they forget all the time. Especially when put under pressure, it can be hard for people to find the motivation or the presence of mind to keep a story 100% straight. Every time I read that exchange you harp on about in your case, that's what I think. TK just seems annoyed at dealing with you as opposed to him making some calculated lie.
Maybe TK is scum, but what you have isn't a strong case, and isn't really a case at all.

@ Oats, TK, and FT
You guys around? Where'd you all run off to?
|
what Hapa, what is the exchabnge you are talking about?
|
Well as far as I'm concerned all of a sudden we have too many reasonable lynches lol (aka our votes are spread already :/).
Syl/FT/Alakaslam are all people I'd lynch plus we have a fair portion tunnelled on koopa.
Since not having my vote on anybody makes it a bit harder for consolidation, I'm going to ##Vote: Alakaslam however I'm currently quite willing to be convinced on any of those 3.

We don't need to consolidate yet. I suspect we'll have a solid bloc of voters come deadline.
Although Alakaslam peacing out and not doing anything right now is bothersome.

This IMO means TK did not lie to you.
I don't think the stuff that I bolded is complete BS. I sympathize with what he is saying. He was fishing for a damning response from Hopeless. He didn't get it, but he still didn't want to explain what he was fishing for, because then all the fish would leave and he would never be able to catch another fish with the same fishing rod.
If you're right about him rayn then he has me fooled. I'm leaning town on him and I don't want to lynch him today. I need to figure out who I want to lynch so I'm done talking about TK for now -- he can defend himself. I'll be open to persuasion again tomorrow.

I think I"m down to Syl/Oats (and maybe FT) right now.

And I'd appreciate it if you didn't call me scum for actually looking through your filters, seeing what you're talking about, and explaining why I don't think it makes TK scum, which nobody else has been willing to do.
For people that leave Oats off their list of willing to lynch, why is that?

Hi, I'm back and sweaty, you lucky things.
Question one: why is Firm asking about sciberbia's meta with regards to posting 'formally' and what have you when it's been talked about at least twice in the thread already?
Secondly, remember when you talked, rayn, about how you just shout louder than the rest of people and get your lynch just by shouting? Well, hi there.
Couple of things I agreed with as I read them, can't remember who said them now - I think Onegu is looking better than I thought earlier in the cycle, his posting seems more sincere and pointed than his first, quite wishy washy post.
Also agree with... Hapa? on oats' 'half-heartedness'. Syl doesn't look great to me but he's posting too much for Syl to be a particularly good lynch today, I think I agree with yamato on that one.
Slammy has posted but nothing of substance, I still think he's a pretty good lynch. Gonna check me out some Oats stuffs. Here for talkies as well.
|
Alrighty imma take a quick shower (really need a break) and then figure out where we should go here.
Between what Onegu said to me last night, and the thing hapa said about the replacement today, I don't feel so great about a hopeless lynch.
FT is on the scummy side of null for not doing jack shit all game and making our lives difficult, but I don't think there's enough in his filter to make a lynch on him a smart option today.
I think I want to go with either a sylencia lynch or an oats lynch. I still need to look more into oats. brb.
