No really, did you?
Yes, we are returning to the battlefield to provide more locally based tournaments and events for all of you SC2 fans out there. But, as time has moved on, so have some of the people that have been working for the league. So before we get going again, I'm going to need help from some you guys.
EXPANDING AGAIN? And don't worry, we won't be trying to go national again. Some things just don't work out without a much larger entity behind you.
NEW AND IMPROVED! The new NESC2League will still have 1 tournament a month and end with a finals, however, due to the lack of LAN centers, we will be doing all online qualifier matches with a live finals. Each qualifier will not have a cash prize (since there is no entry fees), but I will constantly be working on either product or cash prizes for the finals.
STREAM The stream will not be shown on the weekend except for the finals. Instead, we will be casting from replays and showing during the week. this makes it so less time is required of both the people competing in and running the tournaments. So more time with friends and family.
WE WANT YOU! Which brings me to my final part... we need admins and casters. As I said earlier up. Life happens and some of our staff have disappeared, or become more competitive with the time that was taken off. They are all unpaid positions, but historically, I have been able to give product to my staff as compensation for their time.
So without any further delay... let's get this ball moving!

Awesome. Good luck. I understand what you mean trying to take things national. Maybe one day it will happen still!

Yuo need to watch out more for us New England guys though. People are getting super serious round here now.

Good timing. The weather is warming up and people are looking for people to do and places to see.

This looks good. Shame I don't live near New England. Thank goodness for replays!

Well, with HotS coming out and the team NEFN starting up and competing on a more serious level, it only seemed like the right move. Plus, I missed working with all my SC2 buddies. We will always have nesc2league.com after all.

As a matter of fact, I have missed you. Looking forward to this!

Nothing for the upcoming season has been set up yet. We've technically been away for a while, so I want to make sure we have people back in place where they should be before I start this ball rolling again. I think we are just looking for casters atm as I have a good idea of who I'd like to pull in to admin. Don't worry though, once we are going, there will be so many beautiful things.
In the meantime, you should join us over at nesc2league.com

You will definitely have to link some of your stuff here. it's always good to find people interested in that side of eSports as well.

Ok. I'm at a bit of a crossroads with this. So I might as well crowd source it.
Should I be a Player? or go back to Production with Possible Casting?
Poll: Should I go back to doing Production? Or Take a Shot at Playing?Stay in Production (4) 50% Play in the Tourney (4) 50% 8 total votes Your vote: Should I go back to doing Production? Or Take a Shot at Playing? (Vote): Stay in Production (Vote): Play in the Tourney

I'll be working on that AFTER both Firefall and NESC2 get up and running again.
