Hey TL.net
My Logitech mini optical just broke. I know that it's pretty much impossible to buy them now or find them around since this mouse has been discontinued years ago. So my question is, what's a good mouse I could pick up at Best Buy / Future Shop? I need one that is very similar in shape and functionality compared to the logitech mini optical.
Hint: The mouse is used for Brood War, not SC2.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

Logitech g500 or g9x all of them are awesome mice. IMO logitech makes the best mice, but that is just my opinion

Logitech G500/G9X (own both) are pretty nice mice but completely different than what OP is asking for.
OP you can look into Logitech G1/G3 if they still sell that. On a pricer note, I think the Anywhere MX is great but isn't optimal for gaming as it's a wireless mouse. Maybe ebay Logitech MX300?
Good luck homie.

I have a logitech opitcal mini that I ordered from South Korea before. I don't use it right now but the scroll wheel is a bit messed up cause my daughter chewed on it (lol) but the mouse still works. I personally don't ever use the scroll wheel while playing sc but I don't know about other people.

Yaqoob, I'd be interested in purchasing it, even if it's used from you. I live in Ottawa.
Thanks to everyone else for the suggestions, I understand a lot of razer mouses are the norm right now, but I just wanted to reiterate that I wanted a mouse very similar to the logitech mini optical so there would be no relearning / would get used to it fast. I'm going to google those choices that exalted suggested as well, thanks man.

That sucks man. I fear the day my mini optical dies, I haven't come across anything that similar to it.
(I check used computer stores every chance I get hoping to find a backup.)

Ebay.ca --> Logitech G1 = $20~25
|
G9x is good if you want to spend the money, otherwise, I would say get a G1?
G1 is one of the best mice I have ever, EVER used.
Actually maybe the best imo ^.^

Haha I love that mouse, any other will not do. My old one broke but thank goodness I still had two lying around. One of them was broken too so when this one breaks, I don't know what I'll do.

If you can't get it from yaqoob for one reason or another, an actual mouse like the mini is Steelseries Kinzu - very small in size, cheap, and optical.

Some mice you may want to look into, note that for some you may have to resort to eBay to get: Logitech G1 or G3, MX300/310, Salmosa Pro Gaming Edition, KTEC 9500+, Roccat Pyra, Tt Azurues mini, MiCO (has a sensor bug, but might be a minor thing, something to look into, also it is almost exactly the mini in shape).
for KTEC: http://english.gmarket.co.kr/challenge/neo_goods/goods.asp?goodscode=182161146&pos_shop_cd=EN&pos_class_cd=90000001&pos_class_kind=T&keyword_order=ktec
edit: slashed ones less like the mini

I have 6 brand new Logitech Mini Optical, courtesy of my workplace because they were changing their PC mouses to M100.
I'd be more than happy give it to you.

I'd be more than happy give it to you. Whould I be able to buy one from you too?
Also @ Legendary Dreams
I can send you the one I have if you wish for free. I dont really use it and as I said before it's missing some rubber from the scroll wheel. I'll send you a pic or post one here

Hey, thanks for all the replies so far. I really appreciate all of help.
*shana - that would be very thoughtful of you, but I live in Ottawa and you live in indonesia, unless you're interested on myself paying you for them, I doubt it would be worth the trouble
Yaqoob - if you could I'd really appreciate it! I can cover the shipping costs too if needed, I just love to play bw so much and I can't see myself using any other mouse than the logitech mini. I don't care the scroll part is chewed off, since the main use is brood war.

Here is the picture of it and the chewed scroll wheel lol and a couple of scratches (not deep)
I only showed the side of the wheel that is chewed. The other side of the wheel (if you rotate it), is not chewed.

@Yaqoob I'll give mine for free, but shipping to Canada cost $25.3 I don't think that's justified for a $7 mouse.
I didn't know that shipping to NA is very expensive from here :/
|
@ Yaqoob: those are intense chew marks, but in my eyes that mouse is still brand as new If you don't want it how could I obtain it from you?
