Increasingly with the GSL's B team casters I find myself hearing them go, for example in Game 2, 'choya is looking pretty dead, I don't see any way he can hold this, he just doesn't have enough units to break out of here' and I'm like...what? Choya still has those zealots down in his nat, he's not losing stalkers, if that colossus gets out then he holds this pretty easily and he has the bank to remake all his lost structures, Keen lost a buttload of scvs in this, Choya can win this game.
And then Choya is breaking and there's always that moment where they're like '-the zealots, coming in from the side but Keen is really well positioned, probes going down, the immortal not focusing tanks' and then the 'BUT ACTUALLY'. Always the 'but actually' moment, when they realise the game they called to be over is actually pretty even.
I wouldn't mind but this happens quite a lot. It's just something that detracts from my enjoyment of the cast and makes me miss Tastosis ever more keenly and wonder why they don't do anything except Code S. There's not even that many Code S matches why couldn't they do some GSTL as well? I just love watching a game and thinking about how I can't wait for Artosis to go 'GUYS. THIS IS WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE, AND IT'S AWESOME' as opposed to me sitting there thinking 'guys. This isn't what is happening here, pipe down.'
I still like Wolf though.
Accually Tastosis also do this. Calling matches over ("expect gg anysecond") and then the losing player comes back to win the game. Don't get me wrong though i love Tastosis aswell as Wolf and Khaldor.
