I'm just going to start actually cntrl c cntrl v'ing stuff. I'm not intentionally missquoting you at all. You did actually say what I wrote above in different words.
My missquote :"Why is it important that Mayor / Pardonder not be 100% mafia?"
One of the things you said that bothered me :"Why would it be devastating to have Radfield/Arctocod in office if they're both scum?"
Here you say basically "Why would it be important that Mayor / Pardoner be not mafia?" So even though I missquoting you on which line, you actually did say that. I'm kind of starting to get worried about you now...

Sheth who do you wanna kill?

ProfessorBadass, why are you more sure on risk.nuke than MrZentor? Both of them do seem scummy to me, but MrZentor has more of that "wishy-washy i dont want to offend anyone and be a target" feel to him. While Risk.Nuke has voted me with absolutly no reasoning over giygas after saying he was a scummy bastard, I am a bit more sure on Zentor at the moment.

I've been defending myself ever sense I said Zek or Zentor. Give me a bit, to eat supper and re-read some things and I'll let you know for sure who I'd like to remove. I'm not answering half heartedly and then folding on it without good reason.

I agree, I'm satisfied with Sheth.
It worries me that DropBear disappeared again.

@ProfBA Two things:
1: For the large analysis that I'm working on, I went through the thread and picked out every person that had been suspected. I started on the analysis, doing the players in the order I had the tabs in my web browser open, but ran out of time to finish. While I agree that Nisani may have not been the best analysis pick, there has been a lot of people pointing to Jitsu as scum. I feel that going through all the candidates who have been under suspicion and then posting my analysis will benefit both me and the rest of the town by showing what my reasoning is on all these candidates. I will try to clean up the ones I still have to do, though.
2: Why am I a pick for lynching?

Will your analysis be completed before tonight's lynching? If yes, about how long before?

@MrZentor Within an hour. I'm working on it now.

That's way to fucking late Spaackle, us europeans are gonna be sleeping.

i hope annul will serve his purpose and be around at the lynch. I am still torn between zentor and risk... last time i read risks filter he seemed to be town to me :-[

Sheth's filter reads enthusiastic townie to me, I don't see much of a case on him.
I'd prefer to lynch someone like this guy:

Since I don't know if I get back online before the deadline, I'll vote for MrZentor, because he made that strange post that felt scummy to me and I don't have any other persons that I found obvious scum.

These are terrible justifications for voting. MarserBlood looks like scum trying to fit in and get on the safest lynch possible.

I really don't see the deal with Zentor. Nothing in his posts tells me about him either way.
I've already explained my DropBear/risk.nuke/Radfield part. Spaackle's posts just all seem fluff and I didn't like his last big post. He neglected to discuss anyone with any votes or current topics, instead posting about Nisani and Jitsu; would be fine if he thought they were scummy but he brought them up randomly and then called them Town. I don't see the point of writing a big long analysis on two people who aren't in remote danger of being lynched and calling them Town.
It's real easy to call people Town when you're Mafia but accusing people of being Mafia is far tougher.

ebwop I know he's new, but I don't think that's an excuse. His play actually reminds me of myself in my first game (I was scum)
Also, how many people do we have online? I don't want to lynch MrZentor simply because he has the most votes and there aren't enough online ._.

His reason for not voting Sheth is that he would feel bad if he wasn't mafia. ..... ............... ....................... ............................... Theory: They're both mafia? They're both suspicious and he doesn't have a real reason to not kill him...

Sorry I was at the gym. No, come on if he's town I would feel so bad. He comes to play mafia and we lynch him day 1.

So yeah, Syllo went to sleep like 2 hours ago, we came up with both the ideas of pressuring Sheth and DropBear during the day, but both players seemed to respond in a way that wasn't conclusively scum.
I also think the case against MrZentor is kinda weak, as is the case against Zeks. Just little things like MrZentor's brutal honesty about "having to make 2 posts" and Zeks's willingness to aggressively attack people's skills. It doesn't prove that they're town, but it makes it less likely they're scum.
We simply could not reach a conclusive case on anyone as scum today. So we're going with the next best thing, vote someone who doesn't look like he's town, and I don't believe will contribute to the game.
I'm going to stick our vote for the day on Nisani201
Here's a link to his filter: Clicky
There are multiple reasons for him being the choice. First off, there is nothing in his filter that's distinctly town. There is nothing that makes me go "hmmm... that does like kinda town-like". That's always the first thing to look for. However, he is being kinda lurkery today, he's provided very little content of any value.
He does seem to be less of a dick than he usually is as town, He seems to not have a strong opinion on whom to vote today as can be seen this post:
On December 13 2011 12:39 Nisani201 wrote: We could also lynch a lurker (such as TotallyNotTwoPeople). Again, I want more information.
Lynching for information is a common misconception, we always attempt to lynch scum.
Based on Nisani's history as town, he increases scum's chance of winning the game regardless of his alignment, he does stupid shit as town, and thus gets away with stupid shit as scum.
I cannot conclusively prove he's scum, but I think he's by far the most viable lynch we have at the moment.
##Vote Nisani201

xsksc what separates Marser from people like nyczbrandon for you? There are tons of people voting for idiotic reasons or abstaining from voting at all.
Just look at how the election went off, sheepvotes aren't exactly the outlier in this game.
|
@ProfBA I explained in my last post that I wasn't really doing my analysis in any sort of order, just what order my tabs ended up in. I posted what I had because I needed to leave and I wanted to get at least some information out before I went.
Also, to pick who I analyzed, I skimmed the thread and pulled up the filter of anyone who had been suspected of being scum. My method for doing it may not have been the best, but I'm trying to fix that for the rest of my analysis.
|
I'm not voting him for his lack of activity, it's his terrible attempts at trying to justify his votes. "reasons others say" and "that scummy post he made" "no other obvious scum"
|
Thats the cheapest punch anyone have ever thrown at me.
Can you give me a legitimate reason to not lynch Seth?
