I wonder though: I saw on youtube people' comment about what destiny says about his viewers. He regards them as idiots fanatics, and only as an opportunity to make more money... Is that true? I never heard something similar from destiny's mouth, or I would have stopped watching it. Can someone enlighten me up on this matter? His fans are idiots. If i saw Destiny saying this I might have a bit more respect. One of the things that makes Destiny so hated are his fans. I've never seen such blind devotion in my life... oh wait... Paris Hilton. However, this is a good opportunity for him (even though I'm not sure why he is going). He's barely good enough to compete on the NA ladder anymore, I don't see a point in needing to go to Korea just to get your face smashed in for 3 weeks. Maybe if he had higher representation on the NA ladder I'd understand someone fronting him the money to go to Korea. As it stands, this is an obvious publicity stunt, in my eyes. But hey, what can you expect from the 'Paris Hilton' of the SC2 world. It's not like he got streamers from his 'skill' (although his fans will blindly say he is 'PRO' lol!) I don't hate Destiny, I just hate his fans.

Even I [are these two words correct?], I am a fan of destiny himself, but I don't understand why I should be an idiot. In fact, I never posted one time in his stream chat , just watching him chilling around ( I like that he made me meet how great a player like combatex is)

To be fair, people said the same thing about Grubby training in Korea (though Grubby was also there for another tournament), and we can all see what the training's done for him. His play is pretty sick now. Though I don't really know if Destiny has the same potential/drive as Grubby does.

User was warned for this post who wouldn't be jealous? i am jealous. however, like chill said, i would rather treat it as a vacation and hang out with ST than practicing. I would probably get kicked out after a few days for distracting them. =(

I think he will do both of those things and that they will both positively impact his career. He doesn't have to make it into Code A for it to qualify as improvement. This will be helpful no matter which way you look at it.

Anyways, I'm glad he's doing this. Destiny is always one to go to MLG's, but he never places high up, even though he has the extreme potential to. I saw a comment saying that there's no point in him going to Korea because he's just going to get his face smashed in. While this is most likely true, you learn from your mistakes, especially in Starcraft. You didn't just magically pop up into Masters, you had to work your way there by winning games, and to win those games you have to learn from your mistakes, by LOSING. Axslav recently mentioned on his stream that he loves playing against players that are well above him in skill, because it gives him the best opportunity to grow as a player mentally both in-game, and out. Therefore I find that statement to be ridiculous. Best of luck to Destiny, can't wait to see how much he improves over the three weeks he spends there!

I'm pretty sure haters don't group up and plan their next hate session. Or maybe they do, and I've been missing it all along. And of all the dumb reasons you see people hate public figures real-life conflict is definitely not among the worst.
