Let me first introduce myself. I'm a 24-year old metalhead from Helsinki, Finland and I play keyboards in a band called Crystal Blaze. The genre could be described as some sort of melodic metal with some twists. Our band is unsigned but we have played together for many years and will hopefully continiue for many years to come. As for my TL.net history, I'm a relatively new user. I've visited the site regulary since 2005 but registered only about a year ago. I don't tend to post very often even though I visit the site many times a day. I've played Starcraft on/off since the release but I'm not particulary good. I don't really know if people are interested in helping out a TLnewbie like me, but I thought it was worth a shot.
My band recently joined an online competition for unsigned bands which is hosted by MySpace Finland and Tuska Open Air festival (Tuska Open Air website). Tuska is a big metal festival held in Helsinki with over 30k annual visitors. My band was lucky enough to advance to the final stage of the competition with only 4 other bands left. The winner of the competition will get the chance to play a gig at the Tuska afterparty and will be a featured artist on Myspace Finland for one week. In other words, an extremely good chance for an unknown band to gain some recognition.
The winner of the competition will be decided with an online poll over at Myspace. Registered Myspace-users may vote for their favourite band once a day this ongoing week (19th - 25th May). The voting ends this upcoming Sunday.
The reason I decided to post this here is that I recall many earlier threads where TL has shown its power when it comes to online voting. Our band really needs all the support we can get so every vote is highly appreciated. I'm not sure if this thing will really hit it off since voting requires registration at Myspace. However, I'm sure quite a few of you might actually already have Myspace accounts.

Do I have to be logged in on myspace for my vote to count? Tried voting, but the site popped up an alert saying "Tienes que iniciar sesión para poder votar." (I dont know what it means)
