Wednesday finally showed us the new OSL intro and I was eager to see if they could top last season's awesome intro.
Unfortunately, it was a big disappointment. This 50 seconds of happy-go-lucky hopscotch with progamers prancing around and grinning at each other stirred neither the competitive juices nor set the stage for an epic showdown. Even Rock, who looks awesome after spending 5 years worth of progaming salary on a new face, looked less menacing than he deserved.
Game One:
![Terran (T)](https://tl.net/tlpd/images/Ticon_small.png)
![Zerg (Z)](https://tl.net/tlpd/images/Zicon_small.png)
The night opened with what was the biggest match so far in the round of 16. Red hot Sea[Shield] went up against the defending champ Jaedong. Both players had already won their first game, so this matchup almost guaranteed a place in the round of 8 for the winner. With Sea at 8-2 in his last ten ZvT, and Jaedong at 7-3 in the same matchup, the stage was set.
Unfortunately, it did not deliver. Using the close positions on Katrina, a group of speedlings raped Sea's first group of MM and opened the door to devastating muta attacks. No amount of turrets or freshly conscripted troops could save Sea from the aerial assault. In less that ten minutes, it was over and Jaedong is laughing in the face of the OSL curse.
Game Two:

Next up Rock faced Flash, with Rock needing a win to stay competitive in the group and Flash playing his second straight game on a new map. Rock was playing his 99th OSL game, hard to believe but true. With a record exactly 1 game over .500 he is a successful vet. Flash began the game by walling in his ramp... almost. With intense one gate pressure, Rock harried the ramp with a pylon, dropped another in the mineral line to lock up the scv, and sliced up Flash's marines with a stream of zealots. The game went downhill quickly, as Flash lost half of his scv and Rock teched to reavers and carriers. Needles to say, Rock gave the glare and thumbs up to the camera at the end of the game.
Game Three:

In the third game controversy was sparked. Bisu opened with an FE, and July smashed it with his trademark ranged hydras. With all the cannons dead, and both gateways destroyed seconds before dts could emerge, the lag screen popped up and Bisu dropped. The delay dragged out and the TL forums were aflame with opinions. In the end, July was given the game without a rematch. It was clear from the game that he would be the victor, and despite Bisu's angry reaction, both he and July are now 1-1.

From the somewhat controversial Bacchus OSL game on the 23rd

How do you feel about your victory by decision over Bisu?
- I won, but I don't feel very good. I would have performed a ceremony if I had won cleanly, but I feel bad because of the messy conclusion.
Your hydralisk strategy was good
- Rumble(a player on T1) used the same strat on Bluestorm against Free, but he lost. That time, he messed up his hotkeys and wasn't able to break the defense even though he was in a situation to do so. Since I have a game tomorrow as well, I decided to use that strategy. Though I wanted play a strategic/management style game like Jaedong did, I didn't have the time to prepare so I took the risk.
What did the referee say to you?
- He said that there would be a re-game if the replay showed the Dark Templar had finished. Even if the DT was out, I would have won the game. It wouldn't have been odd at all if Bisu had typed GG right there. I was really stunned at the talk of a re-game in that kind of situation.
The entire coaching staff of T1 is to be reorganized...
- I really didn't know until I read the article. The coach came and talked to me about it, and I didn't feel good about it at all. I've only just joined T1, and it doesn't sit well with me that he's leaving so soon. Today's just not a good day in general.
You improved your chances to reach the round of 8.
- Next week's game will be biggest challenge. Next week will also decide whether I reach the next round in the MSL as well. First, I just want to win tomorrow's game, and then my eventual goal is to win ZvT next week to reach the quarter-finals of both leagues. I really want to improve my deteriorated ZvT. I have to practice very hard to that end.
Any last words?
- Though it wasn't the best ending, I'm glad I could meet my fans as the victor nonetheless. I'm happy to end my team's 6 game losing streak in singles competition. I want to keep the team's spirits up by winning tomorrow's game and future games.

Game Four:

![Protoss (P)](https://tl.net/tlpd/images/Picon_small.png)
The final game of the night completed the four game series in a total of 35 minutes. Yellow[Arnc] rebounded from a horrendous game on Demon's Forest to knock down the front of BackHo's expansion.
All in all, a lousy set of games. Less than 40 minutes worth of playtime, and twice as much advertising time. Friday features these games:

I was scared of this after Savior’s first loss. Having to play a P on Katrina is tough, and Savior seems to have a mental block on this map. Xellos beat down Luxury’s brother on Blue Storm a month ago, so Lux will be looking to avenge that, while Much will be much too smart for Frozean on Troy.
