KESPA rules say that players cannot pause on their own no matter what. In a case a player does pause the game, whether it was a mistake or not, the player will forfeit the game.

If there is a problem that requires attention, the player can type "p" and the referee will pause the game.
If there is a problem with the keyboard then the player will raise his hand.

Nal_Ra seems to have paused the game while trying to adjust his sound settings. Instead of F10-O he pressed F10-P... and lost the game.

Yeah that's harsh as hell. My guess is they want that because it's usually on Tv. I dunno if it's live, but if so they could enforce it to make sure everything on the show runs fluidly.

they should change the rules, even if just for this case of accidentally pausing.

maybe add that the player is not allowed to unpause; at the ref's discretion it won't be a forfeit, and ref will unpause the game.

i'm sure fans would rather watch the game than see an accidental forfeit
