You took down GuMiho and advanced to the Premier League for the first time ever. How do you feel?
GuMiho's style is really unique compared to other Terrans players. I didn't really know how to respond to his plays but I did watch the GSL Ro16 matches so I tried out a couple of things. I wanted to play a macro game but I felt like GuMiho was not really good at defending against all ins so I went for it. I feel satisfied.
It looked like you weren't really nervous for today's match. Were you confident?
I was a little nervous. But I calmed down a lot after I went into the booth. I think I've adapted to the booths' environment now.
For every single match since the first round, you won by a score of 2-0.
I just ended up with a lucky bracket. And all my opponents were Terran so I knew they'd be really strong in the late game. So that's why I went for early game, mid-game strategies to ensure my victories.
You won both matches with explosive drops. Were these strategies prepared?
When it comes to drops, Terrans aren't really familiar with that kind of play style. I decided to go for these strategies because I felt like they nullified the effects of tanks and widowmines and minimized the damage you would normally take if you just tried to charge head on.
Your first time making it to the top since your debut,
I am working hard but I am worried (laughs). I have to adapt to the YongSan booths and this will be my first time so I think I'm going to be nervous. I am happy but I'm also worried at the same time.
Your season 2 goals?
I just hope that I don't fall out of my Ro32 group as fourth. If possible, I would like to at least make it to the Ro16.
Anything else you would like to say?
I was planning on waking up early so I could get to the studio quickly but my condition wasn't good so I ended up arriving late. I had been feeling uneasy since the morning so I am relieved that I was able to win. For my Ro32 match, I will show a macro side of me rather than this all in side of me. I could have came to the studio by myself but the coach came with me. I think I was able to remain strong because of the coach's encouragement. I want to thank the supervisor, his wife, and my parents, and thank Maru, Heart, and Center for helping me with practice. Lastly, I want to thank our sponsors LG Electronics, Steelseries, Nvidia, Googims Company, Coca-Cola, Kingston HyperX, ASRock, and Super Flower.

You won the team kill match. Tell us how you feel.
I probably would be really happy had I beaten someone from a different team but I had to beat my teammate so I feel really bad.
What did you feel when you first saw your Ro16 groupl?
I told myself that no matter what, I didn't want to get eliminated as fourth from my group. But I ended up doing just that so I felt really bad that I got matched up against my teammate because of my losses.
You won game one with a quick infestor strategy. And ParalyzE made the mistake of constructing two robotics facilities.
ParalyzE told me that on a regular basis, he's afraid of me. I thought he was kidding but now I think he was telling the truth (laughs). I realized just how nervous he was when he built two robotics facilities so I gained confidence afterwards.
He even made two forges in game two.
That game turned into a hilarious one. All I could do was just laugh (laughs).
Even though he lost, ParalyzE did a ceremony.
I think ParalyzE is a really virtuous person (laughs).
Looks like you need to regain your confidence for season 2.
I think I got punished just a little too much last time (laughs). I think it's time for me to properly dish out some revenge. If I get the chance to, I want to face LosirA.
The matches will be held at YongSan so you'll probably have an advantage.
I'm sure KeSPA players won't really feel the difference but eSF players will probably find things strange. So I am expecting much better results. I heard that you get a seed for next season if you get to the Ro8. So I want to advance to the Ro8 no matter what.
Anything else you would like to say?
I really want to apologize to ParalyzE. I really hope he makes it through the Up/Downs.

You advanced to the Premier League. Tell us how you feel.
It's been a year since I've qualified for the regular season. Since the name of the league itself also changed to something called the "Premier League", I want to do my absolute best with a new mindset.
You stated in your previous interview that you would be able to take on Leenock despite the fact that he is a champion.
I had feeling that Leenock was going to go for early game, mid-game tactics like RagnaroK did today so I really did a lot preparation. But he did the exact opposite and just played regular games so I was able to play comfortable games since he played like any other Zerg.
Today's match focused heavily around bio and widowmines.
Today's game concept was all about formulas. My micro is not that good so I was a little uneasy. But I think things went better than expected overall.
For both games, you went for a 1 rax into a triple CC build.
The key was to keep on producing widowmines. That way I would be confident about defending any attack even with a risky strategy like 1 rax into triple cc.
Currently, CJ Entus' transfer into HotS has not been going very well.
We are full of energy when we practice but things just are not working out during our televised matches. We really are working hard though. Right now, since we finished off WoL with a championship finish, we're focusing on climbing our way back to the top from the bottom for HotS. I hope everyone will continue to believe in us and keep on following us.
Next season will be held in YongSan.
Personally, I prefer to the GOMtv studio but I have a lot of experience on the YongSan stage so I think I'll have and advantage there.
Last season was not your best performance.
Last season, I had this mentality that I was going to get eliminated after only taking down one player, rather than have the menatlity that I was going to climb up. This time around, I am going to aim for the Ro16 no matter what and do my absolute best.
Anything else you would like to say?
Today was a break day for us so practicing was difficult. EffOrt hyung helped me out a lot and 8th Team's Savage played a lot of games with me. The games against Savage really helped out a lot. I promised to buy him a meal so I hope we will meet up in the future.

You successfully advanced to the Premier League.
ByuN is a really good player on ladder. He is one of the top players right now so I was anticipating a difficult match. But I think the games went better than expected. I am glad that I was able to advance to the regular season.
You must be feeling something different after climbing up through a difficult road from the second round of Challenger League.
When I won the OSL and made it to the semi-finals of Code S, I still didn't understand the game. Right now, I have somewhat of a grasp on the concept for this game and I feel like my skills have increased. I think I just got lucky back then. I am satisfied that I was able to make it like this through my own strength. I was grateful for the seed I received back then but that seed also made me feel uneasy (laughs).
How did you prepare for today's match?
I didn't have a lot of time to prepare. I couldn't practice any PvTs because of Proleague yesterday. So since I couldn't get a lot of practicing done, I just went to bed early cause I wanted to at the very least, take care of my health (laughs).
You started off the series with a loss in game one and things started looking bad for you.
After I saw the first map, I felt like it just wasn't going to be good for Protoss. I was okay with taking a loss on Star Station so I approached game one with a warm up mindset. And then I really did end up losing (laughs). But I was all warmed up because of that game so I was able to win the rest of my games.
ByuN pulled his workers in game three and went for an all in.
I took on a lot of damage early on. I wasn't in any condition to block an all in but I think I was able to pull it off because my high templars came out. Normally, I probably still would not have been able to block an attack like that even with high templars, but the entrance was narrow so ByuN took on a lot of damge from storms. I think I benefited a lot from the map.
Next season will be held in YongSan.
I like both GOMtv and YongSan booths. But I'm still playing games in YongSan even as of today so I think I'll have the advantage there. I want to make it to the Ro8 or Ro4 for next season and retain my spot in the Premier League.[/b]
Anything else you would like to say?
I had fans come and cheer me on even though I had a day time match. I am very grateful for that. I also want to thank the fans online who are supporting me. I am going to make it real far from here on out so I hope everyone will keep following me. ParalyzE lost to soO so I hope he makes it through the Up/Downs. I saw him build two forges and I couldn't help but laugh (laughs). He even did a ceremony after he lost so it was just pitiful.
