Hello and thanks for reading,
Since the main patch for hots was released whenever I press f10 my game temporarily freezes and if I click anywhere during this time windows comes up with the "keep waiting for this program to respond" "close program" window. This is quite annoying because it lags the other person I'm in the game with when I'm trying to gg out or leave a replay or whatever.
The second issue I am having is during chat windows I used to be able to click the other persons name and it would come up with options like "invite to game" "add friend" etc
Now I still have the hand come when I mouse over the name but it does not show the menu when I click on it, which obviously makes it hard to party or play with them.
Thanks a lot

Delete or move all of your replays

Wow that fixed everything, thank you so much.
I never would've guessed old replays could do that XD

They shouldn't, blame blizzard =P
It was obviously missed in testing, probably not very notable if you have like 10 replays - but when you have 5k everything goes to hell.

any fix on not being able to right click on other people's names? it's annoying.

now that i moved those files i cant get my game to save any settings and i tried reinstalling but it wont let me ughh

You have to exit the game properly, not force quit or anything - settings saving should be in the variables.txt files in documents, starcraft, delete them if you want them remade which could fix it.
Moving replays should not have anything to do with saving settings, correlation =/= causation, unless you did more than move replays.

I think in my haste i deleted more than i should have and oh boy did i mess it up big time. I appreciate your help a lot, I ended up having to make a new admin account and reinstall the game. what a headache XD
Thanks again for all the help. In the past blizzard games have been great at repairing themselves ive never had an issue like this before.
* Edit, for those who have this same issue and from what I have seen tonight it is common across forums. Do as Cyro said and no more than he said lol. ONLY move the replays and don't touch anything else or you might end up in the mess i had to crawl out of tonight.

Does moving all your replays includes those ones from others accounts ? I mean, I've like 6-9 differents accounts becuase of the name changes and such.

I believe so, just go to documents/starcraftII and search ".sc2rep" then cut/paste them in a folder or something. They are all date tagged so you can sort them chronologically or alphabetically

Only the replays (actually, also hotkey profiles and those new fangled interface files but people don't typically have many of those) in your currently logged in profile ought to affect the F10 lag. (This is also why people go, "hey, I changed region and it doesn't happen!", since those are new accounts with very few if any replays.)

Will try it and see if that works.

I mean "Date Modified" does it automatically for you, it is by default the creation date

Had this issue. Lately I am getting these freezes and I am suddenly getting "stalls/min = #'s. I haven't seen this before. Is this a new feature? I didnt have any issues until I restarted my computer this morning QQ. I don't know how to make it go away. I tried to replay thing. It helped a little, not completely.

I think there's just a lot of small issues with the expansion launch - i wouldnt be suprised if traffic in 1v1-4v4 games went up by 500+% or something - plus the whole new game version etc, things should just fix themselves a lot over time or with small patches like 2.0.6 that was released i think the day after launch
You can reduce stalls by preloading (most loading will only happen once before being stored in RAM until you close the game client), if you are running on a hard drive (and not ssd) then anything related to loading from storage would probably go a lot faster with defragmenting, etc, but you could have stalls for other reasons, its hard to pinpoint.

First post ever, long time lurker, and saw something related to my own problem on the front page. I have also had a problem with the new patches.
I hit the good old custom game button, The only game I saw to play were previous maps I have played before, Then something caught my eye. and I was promptly shat into the SC2 MICRO MASTER TRAINING levels. POWER OVERWHELMING out of nowhere. I beat all 30 challenged with mostly the mouse,(Some levels I could not even react fast enough ) save for lvl 20: Blink Train. I know this may sound like Moose Poo, but I was unable to save a replay either. Problems with the server.
