A call for HOTS build orders.

Hi all.

I'm a map maker working on a training tool for SC2.

I created SALT ages ago

and am just about to start testing/feedback phase for SALT version 2 which along with a whole host of new features will be staring build order support.

I have been developing it in HOTS and porting it to WOL will be a pain so I was wondering if I could get a few general purpose HOTS build orders to ship with the map by default. Then once I have the HOTS version to my satisfaction I can port it into WOL.

Here is a glimpse at what SALT v2 will have:

commands built into the main game interface (press F10 or click on the menu button)

working through a build order

improved saving/loading - now with both auto-save and the ability to swap sides with your opponent

adjustable auto-save duration

a list of credits with about 8 sections listing people who have helped to make SALT

I would prefer general purpose builds that can be used against any race but if you have a good X vs Y build then feel free to share it.

For the metadata please include a title, author and brief description.

For the build you can include supply and/or time and the unit/building/upgrade. you can include neither if it is situational or more of a mid/long term goal

For example
Title: Turtles swarm host build
Author: turtles
Description: "fast expansion using swarm hosts to secure 3rd"

15 hatch
15 spawning pool
5:20 zergling speed
22 supply 6:00 evo chamber
22 spine crawler
22 spine crawler
6:50 +1 ranged
7:00 Lair
infestation pit
3 swarm hosts

Obviously the above build order is pretty bad but you get the idea.

Thanks! I really think SALT v2 is going to knock peoples socks off, so thanks for helping it do that.

For anyone who might be interested in trying out an alpha version you can try "SALT Fractured Glacier" (none of the other salt maps will work). But be warned that it is still in development and not finished yet.

I want normal unit tester, where cloacked units are really cloacked. These build orders too early, they will change some units and abilities.

I know that in a months time the game will be verry different. I would just like to know if there are any basic builds in the game at the moment so people can experiment in the map and I can get some good feedback.

When I am done testing I will update the build orders it comes with

EDIT: I don't what you mean about cloaked units. Cloaked units are cloaked in this mod. Maybe you were talking about a different mod

This is a build I'm working on for ZvX

Aggressive ZvX- Fast Third into range with roach hydra

9 Ovie
14 gas
14 pool
15 ovie
16 3 set lings for scouting/ attacking
(take 2 drones off of gas)
22 Hatchery
22 ovie
23 queen
25 baneling nest
31 spine(put back on gas)
32 ovie
33 roach warren
33 evo chamber
42 lair +1 range damage

Decision point-

expand
If expand- usually go take gas a little later and get two more queens. (2 for creep to help defend third) two extra gas just after filling with 10 drones.

units with macrohatch and take other gases(from here go half roaches half workers)
54 Third base
60 hydra den infestation pit
60 2 more ovies
72 hatchery, roach speed and hydra range
~80 get extra evo +1 attack +2 evo take remaining gas.
~110 enduring locusts and hive

120 Muscular augments(hydra speed)
125 take fourth/ build locusts.

Game where i use the unidealized build cutting a few corners to get more drones earlier since opponent built so many spines.
