I heard there were different servers. And what not, like iccup. I would like to join iccup because I heard a lot about hacks on normal battlenet ladder. Can you guys please help me get started on everything I need to know about sc:BW? <3

To host games you may need to portfoward your router. Being able to host a game will make your life much much easier to find games. There is a guide somewhere on TL, but I can't seem to find it...

Can one play UMS maps on ICCup, and if so is it active? I lost my copy of broodwar many years ago and can't seem to find it anymore. Yeah, occasionally you will see micro-tournament/BGH/Fastest just make sure to host them as Use Map Settings instead of one on one ![]()

Just need to remeber that the port to map is 6112 for both TCP and UDP. It only gets tricky when there are two people with the same public IP who want to join the same game.
