Note: I haven't seen a specific recruiting thread for Diablo III, so I am going to post this here until then. Please let me know if this is unacceptable.
Greetings All!
I am a manger at Relentless Heroes Gaming. Relentless Heroes is currently one of the largest Starcraft 2 clans in existence with over 300 active members and ~1,500 community users, many of which join us on our TS3 server and Battle.net chat channels. We highly anticipate a great move into Diablo 3, and we are now looking for new members to join our player base and help bolster momentum in the early stages of this initiative. There are many different ways to get involved and have fun!
Our professional management team has some exciting things in store for Diablo 3, as plans are already underway! Many members in our existing SC2 community highly anticipate a great D3 experience, and are looking forward to making the transition.
We encourage you to check out Relentless Heroes regardless of your interest level and gameplay intentions; we love to see new faces. There will be a core team-based atmosphere for the aggressive players, and a large 'lounge' atmosphere for those seeking communal support and general fun! We have many resources to offer that will supplement your overall experience on each front. It will be a great way to meet new people and have a blast playing the game you love!
Swing by our website (www.RHgaming.com), check out our forums, and hop on our Teamspeak (ts.rhgaming.com) server to say hi! If you have any questions, feel free to shoot me message; I am more than willing to accommodate any membership inquiries and concerns!

Great group of guys! look forward to Diablo 3 !!

Im interested in this actually. Im just waiting for a bnet key and i can start playing =]

Just putting this out there, I thought blizzard didn't look for diablo 3 to become a serious pvp game (like starcraft)?
|
also theres no guild support in d3, nor will it ever, if i recall correctly
|
Actually, they do plan on adding clan/guild support for both SC2 and Diablo III at some point in the future. It will not be a feature that is implemented at launch obviously, but that certainly doesn't prevent clans from being active together in the game.
|
So what if Blizzard has no intention of making it pvp centric (like Starcraft)? It will still be in the game, and people will play it, some more seriously than others. That's kind of the whole point of pvp, isn't it? Player versus player sounds very player driven to me. It doesn't need perfection, look at Wows shitty pvp system that gets played 24/7. If there is a will, there is a way etc. This is a fine example of how pvp systems should work "beyond the game", get some interested and like minded players to battle with/against!

let me rant for a second- i cant believe the people at blizzard really thought getting rid of clans/ guilds was a good idea... i mean seriously, i have more than a few choice words for them....
on a more relevant note it would be nice to be in a clan even if you arent into pvp. You can do runs together/share loot/ etc etc. sounds like a really good idea to me. Plus then you won't have to rely on random people to quest with! i will def be looking into this, prolly closer to release time (prolly when they actually set a release date)

They are not balancing it based on pvp and will not be supporting it as an esport. That aside, the community can still act in a competitive manner and make it such without the support of Blizzard.

I don't think I'll attempt to participate immediatly but I wish you best of luck.
|
Still waiting for a very large european English speaking clan where people only play SC2 and Diablo III and not 95% of the time some stupid shooters, LoL or WoW -.-
|
clans / communitys will always be needed, with or without clan support. whats the point in playing a game just by your self, people will always find more enjoyment playing with other people.

as soon as i get a beta key im in!

Completely agree with this man. I guess it really comes down to them being unable to truly balance the pvp aspect of it (as happened with WoW), therefore they are attempting to facilitate the refocusing of everyone's attention to the PvE side of things. This way expectations are set low and they aren't forced to dedicate their initial resources to PvP balance and can strictly focus on PvE. Same goes with the clan/guide part of things.

Does RH have any high level players that currently plan on focusing on D3 100% upon release?
(looking for players with some sort of high level prior gaming experience, 2k ELO in HoN, GM in SC, Gladiator in WoW etc.)
Not interested in cuddling or friends, just skill.

Although I do not believe Blizzard is wanting to tie themselves to the term "Clan" or "Guild" support, they have alluded to wanting to implment it at some point. Now, this is not specific to Diablo III, this is a Battle.net feature. It was noted for Starcraft II, and been commented on for Diablo III as well. But, just consider how long it has taken for the 'channel' system to be added. I worry clan, guild, or what ever they want to call it will take quite a whiles.
Also, as someone pointed to PvP. blizzard intends to balance PvP. Now, they did mention they do not plan on trying to make it into an e-sport (which is sort of dumb since, although not like Sc II, games tend to become e-sports based on the gamers and not companies). Regardless, that is an entirely different topic. But the way Blizzard is going to be balancing Diablo III is to have the types separated.
So PvE's balancing wont effect PvP's. It is sort of like Dragons Nest. When you upgrade skills, you can see how each skill does normally, and how they act in PvP. This helps prevent the problems WoW suffered when it came to balance. Which is quite a smart move, so hopefully we wont have any skills broken due to other types.

Yes, We plan on hitting Diablo 3 with full force, and there will be players that are playing starcraft 2 that will be joining us as well, but that does not mean we are going to stop are focus on starcraft 2, we have management running both sections so are SC2 community and are D3 community we keep growing.
